Customer service is TERRIBLE here. There's one employee in particular at the Brenham branch who says very inappropriate things and is as RUDE as it gets. We are now looking to change banks.

Stay away from Brenham National Bank. They did a software update on their online banking and it has been a nightmare. Go with a large bank that is not from Washington county.

Brenham National Bank is community focused and very helpful. They have a great mix of products and services (including hours on Saturday!). If you want a great local bank, give them a chance!

They offer nice features with their checking accounts. And local businesses can deposit your paycheck next-day. But if you travel, and I mean travel just 2 hours from Brenham you'll have your card shut down for what they think is fraud. Don't worry though you'll get a email asking if it was. That will give you about 4 more purchases before AGAIN it's declined while you sit at a 5 star Austin restaurant. There will be no email this time, no you must call a fraud hotline to tell them it's not fraud. But guess what? They can unlock your card, you can only wait till the next business day for the bank to do that. So now you must jog 6 blocks to the parking garage because the restaurant closes at 10pm and it is 9:47 to get your wife's wallet. Why? Because it's her birthday and its also Easter and you told her to leave it.
