On our way back from a Hill Country family wedding, we decided to stay away one more night over Easter weekend 2015 and happily chose the Murski Homestead. What a lovely place to rest, regroup, enjoy the gardens and the cats! The expansive property views, family history, iris and babbling brook and sunset were all like the photos and the conversation with the owner, Tom, great fun. Bizarrely, As we were preparing to leave the following morning, my husband suffered a mini-stroke. The Murski’s identified it correctly, drove and helped us get immediately to the Brenham emergency room and waited with us until he was transported to St. Joseph’s for an additional week of recovery. My husband is well and starting a newbusiness at age 74, thanks to the Murski’s kindness and quick, calm reaction. God bless them!

Husband and i decided to take a last minute get away for our anniversary. We were lucky to find anything, but could not have been happier with this place. Everything was great! Spectacular views and a nice quiet setting outside. The room was charming and had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Lots of privacy, but not too far from town. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I needed a short, relaxing vacation and chose to visit the Texas hill country during early April to view the bluebonnets and Indian paintbrush, which were spectacular. As experienced travelers, we highly recommend the Garden Room within the Murski Homestead. You probably cannot go wrong with any room, but we can attest to the Garden Room. While convenient to Brenham, the Murski Homestead is quiet and truly relaxing while providing peaceful solitude, beautiful ambiance, and all the necessary conveniences. A delicious breakfast was prepared in advance and carefully saved in the Garden Room's mini refrigerator. We heated quiche in the microwave and thoroughly enjoyed yogurt, fresh blueberries, various homemade breads, orange juice, and coffee under the trellised patio with chirping birds saying, "Good Morning!" Treat yourself - enjoy walking the property, enjoy breakfast on the patio, and relax in nice rocking chairs while enjoying wine & cheese (bring your own) - treat yourself.

The place was affordable and nice. I did not like the cat roaming all over the place. The wasp on porch did not make for a good breakfast. I paid for a late check out and Inn keeper was pushy for us to leave early.

Everything you could hope for plus more!!! me and my husband decided to eloped last 2013 and we found Murski Homestead on google with great reviews so we decided to book the all inclusive elopement package and oh yes it is all inclusive. From my beautiful hand tied bouquet down to the morning breakfast we have NO complain at all. It is hassle free and very detailed. The service is impeccable and the food superb. Did I say the place is awesome too? Thanks to the owner Pamela we had a beautiful and a very memorable wedding.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Murski Homestead on 11/13-15/15 in the Sage Room. What a fabulous place out in the country! Our room was a nice size and the bathroom was also clean and stocked with all the essentials. The electric fireplace was a great feature that we used during our stay too. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great both nights. Pamela and Tom are wonderful! Pamela met us on Friday afternoon and showed us around, gave us a ton of tips on where to eat, what to do, etc. She and Tom are very hospitable and clearly enjoy running this B&B. We ordered the Hot Ranch House Breakfast on Saturday morning and it was delicious, but, there is so much food, we likely could have shared one meal. We were sad we could not finish it, since it was amazing, especially the pear pancake! Breakfast en suite on Sunday was also very good, not your typical breakfast and just the right size for us to get started with our day. The fruit nut bread is also very tasty! I have stayed in a lot of B&B's and in addition to being exactly what I expected per the website and other reviews, the biggest gem of this B&B are the owners, Pamela and Tom. They really care and treat you like an old friend. They were so accommodating and quick to respond to any need. I highly recommend Murski if you are traveling to Brenham or someplace nearby!

Everything about this B&B is fantastic! The rooms are very well taken care of and clean, the property is in excellent condition and the grounds are perfectly landscaped. Pamela is an excellent hostess and she makes sure that you have everything you need. We found this B&B when we were looking for an elopement package. We are having a big wedding next year but wanted to do something just for the two us before then. Pamela ensured everything was taken care of for the ceremony and that our day was special. We didn't have to worry about anything, we got married by the gazebo, drank wine on the porch and ate an outstanding meal prepared by Pamela. Dinner consisted of homemade soup, Sheppard's pie made with lamb, venison and ground pork with twice roasted mashed potatoes on top and for desert we had an apple pie sort of dish with Blue Bell ice cream on top. To die for!! We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the features of the B&B but unfortunately we had to go back to Houston. We will definitely be back for a weekend of R&R soon!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this B&B! My wife and I just got married here and we were blown away from the moment we arrived. The property is on top of a hill overlooking a large expansive field (complete with horses and donkeys and cows roaming around!). Everything was so gorgeous and Pamela was such an amazing host. We had reserved one of the smaller rooms but because we were the only ones there Pamela upgraded us to the Garden Room, which was very spacious and had windows on three of the four walls. If you do decide to get married here there are multiple areas to have the ceremony and Pamela was so accommodating to make sure that we were satisfied with our experience. Breakfast was amazing and Pamela also makes a fantastic liquor! We cannot wait to go back for our anniversary!

Such a relaxing weekend. We stayed in the Sage Room and it was perfect. The sheet were extremely soft, bed comfortable, tons of pillows. I love the reading nook in the corner, the electric fireplace, the bath and homemade complimentary liquor. I'm already bragging about this B&B, it was the first my husband had ever stayed at and we might not ever go back to hotels if he thinks they will all be like this one. They had puzzles, board games, cards, a Jacuzzi, horses, donkeys, cows and a beautiful property tons of places to just sit and enjoy the view. The owners are what sold this to us, they are so sweet, gave us recommendations and constantly asking if we needed anything and gave us some extra desserts. Such a sweet couple and Pamela is an AMAZING cook. She would make breakfast the day before and have put it in the refrigerator for us to have whenever we woke up the next day in the comfort of our rooms with fresh fruit and juice. Relaxing escape. Highly recommend.

Being from Houston, this was close enough to home that we didn't have to travel far, but far enough that we felt we were able to get away. Brenham in the spring time is a sight to behold with the rolling fields of flowers. My Fiance and I were thoroughly impressed with all the little touches that this B&B offers. We got a warm welcome when we drove up and were given a quick little tour and given a map with dinner ideas. That night was lovely. We stayed in the Sage Room. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Our bathroom was very roomy and nicely decorated. The tub is nice and big and gave a wonderful bath that evening. We paid a little extra to have breakfast brought to us in suite. Amazing breakfast! All in all, we were super pleased with our stay and wish it had been more than just the one night so we could enjoy it longer. Will definitely be going back for years to come.

What a nice and affordable bed and breakfast. We were greeted by the owner on arrival and she made some delicious food. It was quiet and a pretty surrounding. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to others as well.

We got married and had our honeymoon here :) The B&B and outdoor areas are absolutely beautiful and Pamela was so friendly and attentive to our needs. Everyday she would leave some kind of treat in our room, as well as deliver breakfast that she made herself (which was always great!). We couldn't have asked for a better place to get married and stay for our honeymoon! Thank you!
