We did a college friend reunion here and it was so wonderful!! We had 16 adults and 8 babies and still had plenty of room. Everything was very clean, Ruth was so easy to communicate with and the party room is the best hangout spot! The chef and staff are amazing. All the food was fabulous and the kitchen and dining area were left spotless every time. We all left saying we would absolutely come back!

The most beautiful and memorable wedding, I could ever dreamed-of, took place at Perma Vista Ranch! I recommend this place, all of our friends and family were delighted with the grounds and most of all the attentive staff. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories! We will be back for a family reunion.

What a dream weekend and dream wedding! The views from this property are breathtaking!! Ruth and the entire staff are so attentive and catered to our every need! The food was incredible…it was truly a culinary experience! We are so grateful for the time we had there and are already planning a trip back soon! Our stay was absolutely memorable and we certainly enjoyed our family time together. The great game room was perfect for sharing meaningful time and having fun with each other.
Brunches were outstanding as usual and the service and kindness of the staff highly commendable. Looking forward to our visit in July!

I can only give 5 Stars but I would give 10 if it were possible!! Wow! What a wonderful time!! We wanted to get all our kids and grandchildren together and at PermaVista there was room for everyone! The rooms were spacious and clean! And Bonus, it came with a huge delicious breakfast every single day! Chef was AMAZING! Every morning our family met together in the dining room for the most beautiful and wonderful breakfast spread of incredible food! We have athletic teenage grandchildren and he was able to fill even them up!! Eggs made differently every single day! With different breakfast meats, pancakes or waffles, English muffins or bagels, fruit, oatmeal, juice, coffees, cereal…wow everyday the meal was changed up. The last night everyone was to be together, we ordered a wonderful dinner prepared by Chef! They graciously took a picture outside of all of us for my wall. Thank you so much to Chef and his wonderful wonderful staff!
Ruth was amazing and very responsive from the time we reserved the place to now 🥰. She met us out there when we first arrived to show us around. Top notch!! She made sure everything was perfect! And it was! Every morning we’d get up to enjoy coffee and scenery in the balcony of the party house and the pool and patios had already been cleaned and cared for. We never saw anyone! Ruth set up horse riding that a group of 9 went out and had so much fun they wanted to do it again! Daytimes were spent in the pool and watching the Olympics on the bag tv in the party house, we went to the Blue Bell Creamery one day, another the girls shjopped in Brenham while the guys watched sportsnn no in a restaurant. One night we watched our kids and grandkids do a tournament at the lighted tennis/pickleball court as we sat in the stands. Other nights we’d play games in the Party house, play pool and shuffleboard.
I could go on and on but the entire family had a blast (their words) I am hoping we get to do this again!! A truly blessed time. Thank you to the Host and Ruth, and Chef and the wonderful Staff at Perma Vista.💖

We recently held an Executive Offsite at this location. Booking the entire venue allowed us the privacy that was needed for this meeting. Being from another Country we were also able to arrange for a true Texan experience through Horseback riding and a traditional Texas steak cookout. If you are looking for something that is not your normal hotel, we would recommend this venue.

Such beautiful property. There was a mouse in the playhouse but it’s in a big farm so it’s to be expected the critters and crawlers. The pool very nice. The barn with the horses and the employees there were super awesome. The staff there were super awesome. The food was super delicious and plenty.

Had the pleasure to spend three days at PermaVista Ranch for a work event and our team had a blast. The food was amazing, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Horseback riding was a highlight for those that wanted to enjoy the property from a different angle and the party house was the perfect venue for a more casual meeting setting. There was 12 of us and it never felt crowded, there was ample space for down time and the views were spectacular thanks to all the wildflowers. Only downside was wi-fi wasn't great with so many people trying to connect, given the setting we're not complaining plus we made it work. Thanks to everyone at PermaVista for making our experience memorable!

We had the best weekend of our lives at Permavista Ranch. We decided to do an intimate wedding weekend with just our immediate families. My half of the family flew in from Massachusetts. Permavista was the perfect size for all 7 families. Every family had their own rooms with their own bathrooms. That was important to us as we didn’t want people to feel cramped, especially after most were meeting for the first time. Everyone felt extremely comfortable and had so much fun. The chef’s food was absolutely delicious as far as breakfasts, dinners, and desserts. The game room was so perfect for the girls getting ready on the wedding day since it has so much natural light, and most loved to hangout there the rest of the time (if we weren’t out by the pool). The manager Ruth was available any time to answer our questions and help us out. Aurora was also so kind and helpful! The chef’s wife made our wedding cake and it was beautiful and tasty. Overall a 10/10 experience!

It is a beautiful place! Luxurious, and relaxing! We had such a wonderful time. The chef made fabulous food and the horseback riding was fun for several people who came with us. It would be a really lovely place to stay for a family vacation, a family reunion or even a wedding venue.

Had a great time at the ranch for my husband's 80th birthday party weekend. All our children and grandchildren were there. The cooking staff was amazing and the food was excellent!! The property is beautiful, the bedrooms very comfortable, and fantastic views.

Our family stayed for a weekend. It is a great place for a family gathering. Has 8 bedrooms so plenty of room for our family of 16 including kids, grandkids and great granddaughter. Lots of things to do for all ages: basketball, tennis, pool, shuffled board, swimming pool, hot tub, several Large TVs, and fire pit at night. Horse riding is available. The breakfast are great and table service is outstanding. The grounds are immaculate and, from the hill that the house sits on, the views are great.
