If you’re looking for Western clothing or tack, this is the place. High quality and lots to choose from. I’ve bought a few items from South Texas Tack and each visit was very pleasant. Employees are friendly and helpful but don’t hover over you. Very nice shopping experience.

I recently bought an Ariat softshell jacket and shirt from them. I found them online and am embarrassed to say how often I've passed the store on the way to Houston or back to Austin. Never noticed how close they are from me. They have a great selection of many things. I will pop into the store soon to see it in person. Customer service is top notch as I had chosen a shirt that was totally different colors in real life. Shirley emailed me to confirm what I was buying & she sent me pics and then decided what I was going to get. I can't say enough about the quality of the things I purchased. Shipping was very quick as I bought Friday recieved Saturday. Love love love South Texas Tack!!!! ❤️ Yall have a new loyal customer indeed! ?

A great tack store with everything you might need from saddles to ropes to apparel. I came in here explicitly to look for some new jeans and boots. They have a fantastic selection of Anderson Bean, HP, Olathe and Hyer as well as the usual suspects like TwistedX and Ariat. Well worth stopping if passing on 290. The hat section is also comprehensive.
