I wasn't sure about a bank in a Walmart store, but took the chance because of the convenience and their hours.I have been a business owner/entrepreneur for years who banked with the large national and international banks for almost 50 years. No bank or bank staff I ever dealt with compares with my experience at Woodforest National Bank.Adeana, Assistant Branch Manager at my location has go over and above expectations I have had or imagined for a bank employee.I highly recommend Woodforest National Bank!

Employee is either not trained or does not care about doing her job. Called to verify international transaction procedures and I was told information that was completely negated today. Employee also told me to “hold for a minute” after she answered my question which turned into 8+ minutes on hold while she apparently was getting cash out of the back safe. The manager even defended the cashier’s apparently flawed training and lack of customer service. Why bother answering questions if false information is given? I could have saved my time invested in the phone call. Plus it completely changes my game plan for my trip since apparently there is an international transaction fee for every purchase. It’s time to switch banks because this is no longer the level of service I’ve seen in the past 15+ years using them as my bank. Yes it’s convenient being in Walmart with extended hours, but at what cost? Definitely not the bank I thought they were.
