This store has gone way down over the last 5 or 6 years. Prices are outrageous as they are everywhere. Teenage checkers are unfriendly. The Deli was horrible service. 2 Hispanic young men were too busy talking, griping that it took forever to get my 1l2 lb of cheese sliced. America, we're in trouble!

If you ride a motorcycle stay away from here especially the gas station! The entrance to the parking lot is polished like a garage floor. I hit a cars a/c condensation and wrecked my bike!

I do love shopping here as the folks are very friendly unfortunately they put items on sale and don't stock them. I went to another Brookshire’s that actually had the ground beef that was on sale after 3 trips in 3 days of being disappointed. With costs being what they are today and the decline of customer service it's no longer worth it to shop here since they haven't asked to help me out to my car in months.

I ordered a birthday cake 3 weeks in advance, one day before my birthday my husband went to pick it up and it was HORRIBLE, Looked like a 2 year old decorated it, it was nothing like I wanted, I pointed out said I want THIS EXACT cake,the lady said No problem, the mess they made was a putrid pink and aqua, BLOBS ON IT, NOT EVEN CORRECT size, I am still in tears.
Todays my 56 birthday I have no cake,nothing!
I was not offered a free cake or even a half price cake.
Thanks brookshires in bridgeport tx for putting me in tears, making my day horrible.
I will NEVER EVER get anything not even groceries there EVER AGAIN.
All I wanted was the pretty cake nothing else for my birthday. Now
I have NOTHING Thanks to the bakery there.

This is NOT a cake for even a 1st birthday more or less a 56th birthday.

I wouldn't typically leave a review. However, I feel it is necessary after my last 3 trips to brookshires. I much prefer going to brookshires over our local walmart. It's usually much cleaner and people are friendly. However, during my last 3 trips, I've noticed multiple out of date, expired, and moldy products. I can't blame them for an item here and there. But it seems quality control needs to get a refresh. I purchased a bottle of tea, not thinking of checking the date. My mistake, it tasted a bit odd. It turns out it expired back in the beginning of June. I couldn't find a single pack of mixed raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries that didn't have mold. There were 2 blocks of jack cheese, one being utterly coated in mold. The vollemans heavy cream had expired 3 days prior and was still sat on the shelf. A whole chicken expired by 3 days. I really hope they can get this under control as I truly prefer doing my grocery shopping here, even with the prices generally being more than our local Walmart. Please check the dates on your items before purchasing.
