This store will never win a prize for having friendly employees. They will, however win the lazy employee award. Put my change down on the counter, never said a word and walked away. It's far from the cleanest DG I have patronized. I avoid this store most all of the time.
Many of the new food coolers are not working.

Don't ever go here if you're in a hurry. None of the self checkout stations are ever open and they only have 1 register open with a long line.

Always long line to wait only 1 cashier and 11 people waiting in line. On top of that people be smoking and vaping inside.

DG Market has a friendly staff and Good Groceries! There's also a dollar section?. I love it there .I can check out as fast as I can get it done. They're open early and close late which is awfully convenient for us folks in Brookshire Texas.

If I could leave a ZERO star I would. The older white man named KENNY at this location is very rude and extremely unfriendly. While I was there I was checking out with Mr Horacio which was very kind and helpful and while I was checking out there was a young black man checking out in self checkout. When the young man asked for some assistance from Mr KENNY he was met with rude words and a question into this young man's intelligence. I KID YOU NOT MR KENNY upon the young man asking about paying with cash on those self checkout registers responded to the young man "CAN YOU NOT READ THE SIGN SAYS CARD ONLY!" and I mean he yelled this at the young man it was completely uncalled for. After I was done checking out with Mr Horacio (a young hispanic man) he even had rude words and attitude for his coworker. I felt and still feel he is being racist towards anyone that isn't his own. I will be returning to speak to the store manager about this and I will report it higher if needed this man is awful!

The blonde woman with short hair who works there is very rude, she even threw me at me, I think they should check customer service!! I always go there but this time I don't feel like going back.

I love the new layout of the store. So glad they finally remodeled it!! I use to skip this DG and go to the one in Pattison. Happy to be able to shop here again. Make Brookshire great again!!

I picked up center cut pork chops today. I took it out of the fridge to cook. Cut the packaging. This horrible smell came out of the package. I will never buy meat there again. Gross. The vegetables had mold too... WARNING, YOU COULD POISON YOUR FAMILY....

Cancelled pickup orders twice after the pickup window closed with no explanation as to why. Very frustrating especially when using coupons that are expiring.

The self checkout is horrible. Odds are that prices will be wrong, especially if it's a mark down. You have to find an employee to fix it for you. The new layout is much better than the old one. If I need something fast and don't want to drive 10 miles down the road to get it, Dollar General is usually where I can find most of what I need.
