“Our personal car got hit and was stuck in the shop for over a month so we needed an extended rental. Enterprise/Hertz was completely out of cars at all locations so our insurance agreed to cover a vehicle from wherever we could find one. I'm now on my second rental from this Budget location and Cheryl and Michelle are so courteous and friendly! Definitely not what you would expect from an airport location. There is a stand-alone location closer to me (Harlingen) but to be honest they are absolutely horrible the 2 times I tried to rent there so I will only come to these ladies whenever I need a car! Even my 3 yr old son loves seeing them!”

“I rent cars almost every month as I travel often on business. This National Rental Car offers the best rental car services. I needed a large vehicle that carry 6 people comfortably with lots of luggage. I was initially concerned that this location has less choices than Harlingen Airport and they may not be able to hold my reservation for a particular type of car as it can happen with any rental car companies. Having the right car was so important for my project that I was debating if I should fly into Brownsville ( less drive but a risk of not having a car I need) or Harlingen ( longer drive but less risky) I consulted Hector who was at the desk and expressed my concern for my next trip to Brownsville. He was kind and understood my concern. He went beyond and ensured that the right vehicle would be reserved for me. So I decided to fly into Brownsville. The vehicle he held for me was perfect. It was easy to drive and was so comfortable. I wish every rental company had "their Hector." This location is the best!! Thank you, Hector!”

“Originally booked a compact car for my trip to brownsville/south padre island/Port Isabella for my birthday but they upgraded me to a minivan at no extra cost and went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were taken care of! This is why I only go to enterprise and keep going back to them, they always take care of their customers! Also my flight was arriving late and was worried they would be closed by the time my flight arrived in Brownsville but they made sure they were there when I landed! “Yesterday, my flight arrival into Brownsville from Dallas was delayed almost 3 hours from 9:30 PM until well after midnight. If you've ever been to Brownsville airport, then you know it's not the kind of place where yo want to be stranded overnight. When I arrived in Brownsville, the gentleman from Dollar was waiting for me at the desk with the keys for my car. I personally witnessed the distress of another passenger from the same flight who had a reservation with another car rental company that was already closed for the night. She had to wait until 9 AM the next morning for her car. I will rent from Dollar in Brownsville again.”
