After failing to find a nutcracker in Walmart, which was confusing (because this is Texas and pecans are a big deal here), I stopped at this location because I did not want to yet again go to amazon for something simple. They seem to have exactly what I was looking for and I was very appreciative. However, the product that they were selling was not even usable. The main cracking tool , which i'm sure you've seen because it looks like a V is too slippery to even grip the nut. It came with four picker tools that were identical, which doesn't make sense. And yet again, I did not keep my receipt, though it is not wise to assume I would have successfully been refunded. So I could not return the insufficient and cheap tool, and yes, I had to find something usable and of better quality on amazon. Disappointed.

Everyone is always friendly and willing to help. Stark difference from Home Depot where they basically ignore you. Maybe they're a little bit higher than the big box, but it's worth it.

The young woman who helped me went out of her way to take me to each item I wanted to check out. I got what I went in for, and it was cheaper than anywhere else I checked. It was also a very clean store and well stocked.

Not very friendly nor helpful. I was looking for river rock, pea gravel, and leveling sand, all items regularly carried by the Ace store in Colorado City, Colorado. At least they had sand, which I carried out by myself. I'm 73 years old and not helpless, but an offer of assistance would have been appreciated. Doubt that I'll be back. Home Depot had everything else I needed today. And they're very helpful.

I bought everything from ammo to a rain gauge. They have what you need with superior friendly customer service employees. Buy local!
