I have used Jackson Hewitt for 2 years. I paid for the extra help if I got audited. Well I got audited and TRIED repeatedly to get them to help me with the audit. I ended up paying the extra to do it all myself! Ended up getting less the HALF of what I was supposed to get last year! I went to have them do it again just in case I got audited again. Well Saturday, the lady that was doing them didn't ask what package I wanted to pay for they just tried to charge me the MOST! I applied for the advance said I would be told by within a couple hours. Well Monday, still hadn't heard nothing so I call they tell me my return was rejected because of some insurance thing I DIDN'T EVER HAVE.. well I called the numbers, they confirmed that I NEVER had insurance with them therefore I can't get the form I supposedly needed. Call back and told them what I was told and then they go look at my info and like MAGIC now it was rejected for some different reason! I ended up filing with TurboTax and got a bigger refund than going with Jackson Hewitt scamming company was going to get me! IF YOU USE JACKSON HEWITT SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND GET THE ABSOLUTE BASIC PACKAGE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE ON YOUR OWN IF YOU GET AUDITED!
