Are you kidding me! Who’d a thought this gem would be in Brownwood? The food was excellent (they make their own pasta and noodles). Their craft cocktails are great, and the gelato . . . seriously, tasty actual gelato right freakin here. I am amazed.

At the Turtle they cherish delicious food and good conversation; their key ingredients to happiness. Woven into their ethos is a desire for great wines that echo the terroir to share with their guests. Artisan beers and craft cocktails accompany creative thin crust pizzas and akaushi beef burgers with house made challah buns and chips. Dinner specials and cheese plates available. The wine list won two stars two years in a row from World Of Fine Wines for it's outstanding collection of unusual mid priced wines organized by varietal. No grocery store wine here! Ten whites and Reds on tap so you can experiment without being committed to a full bottle.
