Shelter is friendly and communication is good. I adopted my Dobby from there recently and I'm so happy. They even provided him toys and food to come home with. I'm so thankful to them and the adoption fees are a steal!

Amazing staff! Everyone was incredibly sweet & compassionate. The application process was thorough but very simple and easy to complete. I had a great conversation with the adoption counselor prior to our visit. Our sweet girl, Sadie came home to us already potty trained, spayed & even knew a few commands/tricks due to her being in foster care. We had a wonderful experience and the BAC deserves all the praise for what they do for those precious animals.

Absolutely amazing people doing amazing things
I read the negative reviews. However they care and if you had a negative experience then maybe it was you not the people there.
Perception is everything. So are facts.
Anybody can get on here and exaggerate or embellish on here. They were amazing to me and they have a lot to deal with. So thank you Bryan. Animal adoption for your service

It seems like they do everything possible for a cat to be adopted. We went into see 2 cats and were told we can’t touch them (application takes 24hrs to process and they are closed Sunday/monday) , we also loved a cat that was going to a foster but they wouldn’t give us any info on where it was going. If you have someone who wants to take the kitten why send it to a foster and not the person who they would stay forever with? It just seems a bit ridiculous and that they don’t really want them to get adopted. I get wanted the cat to go to a good home but it seems crazy.

They did every single thing possible to prevent me from adopting a cat. I paid hundreds of dollars, went up there in person at least 5 times, did everything for my apartment, got every thing approved, and they STILL nit picked until they found the TINIEST reason not to let me adopt. Shelters are supposed to HELP animals not keep them locked up as long as possible. Oh AND they refused to put any type of hold on the cat so despite all the effort and money and time put in the cat could be adopted by someone else anytime and all of it for nothing. Ridiculous.

Do not go here. I was trying to be a good person and do the right thing by taking some poor baby kittens that I saw be abandoned to a shelter. Unfortunately my cousins and I picked the wrong one. This place makes me sick.

If I could leave a negative star I would. These people turned away two baby kittens who were in need of help. They yelled at my friend when she was trying to help these poor babies. Why work at a place that helps animals if you’re not going to do so and be unprofessional with the loving and caring people who are. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

This place is absolutely DISGUSTING. Not only is the staff incredibly rude but they contradict themselves. Kittens were thrown in a bucket at an Exxon gas station and were brought in to the animal center for care. However, the staff refused to help and take/nurture the abandoned babies because there was no “proof” of someone dumping the cats at the gas station. Where in their policy does it say we need proof? Police and animal control were involved, we were yelled at by one of the workers and she made it seem as if WE were the ones dumping the cats to the police. This is absolutely absurd. ESPECIALLY after she, herself, said to take them back to the gas station and leave them there KNOWING it is illegal. This place and its workers is a complete JOKE.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE . My cousin saw a man dump 2 baby kittens in a bucket at an Exxon on 3402 SH-21 E
Bryan, TX 77808
United States
We brought them there to give them a fighting chance and they did not accept these strays without PROOF OF DUMP. They even told me to return them back to where they were?! You want me to dump them back there ?! That ILLEGAL Are you kidding me?! No where on the policies does it state we need proof of them being dumped just so they can take them in?!. I foster and help lots of animals and I’ve NEVER had to “prove” that a helpless animal was dumped. We asked them for food since we had called animal control and we were parked out front waiting for them we figured the babies were hungry . Mind you the animal control knew our names , and plate number. After they ate we took them to the grass so they can potty since we had no other supplies and the receptionist comes out yelling to us bloody murder thinking after asking for help and waiting on animal control that we were just gonna dump them there ?! Girl please yes I yelled back and yes I put her in her place . Super unprofessional. If you hate your job then don’t work in animal care. Horrible experience horrible clinic . Aggies human society was way more respectful. These women give straight up attitude . Never coming here again .

Do not recommend this place. They rejected some abandoned kittens and gave us no other option to help them. We’re not even from here to begin with but we thought we were doing good in taking the abandoned kittens to this location. The staff was very rude and were yelling at us telling us that we needed proof of abandonment when I have never heard of that being a thing to drop off a stray pet. They need a new staff and to be more patient. 0/10 experience, very upsetting.

The staff is absolutely horrible to work with and are never understanding of the circumstances or situations an animal may be in. They don’t care about most recent events and instead constantly give attitude towards anyone who walks in. I would never recommend this shelter to any person or animal.

Alicia was rude and had poor customer service and relationship skills. When I asked him to speak with her manager, she hurried up and went back there and told her her version of events before the manager can come talk to me. Therefore, I could not resolve any issues due to management not being personable also.
