Carmen's first career was as a mechanical drafter, graphic artist, and technical illustrator. Before that time in her life, she taught "Image Training" and color analysis. But the profession she loves most is permanent cosmetics. Carmen started this profession in 1989 at its very beginning. She was living in Oregon at the time, and read about permanent cosmetic training in the Portland area. Carmen started her business in a very upscale beauty shop and stayed there for 6 years. Carmen went back to school and received her diploma as a skin care specialist. Carmen then went on to build a day spa with several employees specializing in skin care and permanent cosmetics.
