They are closing in the near future but don't have a closing date, yet so no deep discounts so far.

Update the store hours. They close at 7pm

So many times I have come here during business hours to find them closed. But of course they don’t answer the phone when they are there, so you have no way of knowing what’s going on. Awful store.

Really need to update hours. I placed an online order, got there at 7 to pickup. Lights on and I saw employees walking around yet the doors were locked. Multiple people tried to go in after me with no luck. Also tried calling several times and no answer.. yes there were workers walking around? No signs posted about new hours anywhere. Customer service is also REALLY POOR at this location. I avoid talking more than I need to but god forbid you need to return something or have a simple question about online orders and it’s like you pissed in these workers cereal. And that whale Kristin or whatever her name is should’ve been fired years ago. HORRIBLE attitude.

EMOTIONALLY UNHINGED EMPLOYEE
Came in here today to by some fabric backing and fabric glue. I looked the products up online to see if I could find them elsewhere and noticed that on JoAnn’s website they are about 30% cheaper than in the store.
When I got to the register, I asked the yellow haired cashier why were the prices higher in the store than online. She gave me the most hateful look and blinked at me repeatedly as if I were stupid for asking and told me “Because they obviously want you to buy the items online.”
I told her I didn’t think that seemed right and her response was “Listen I don’t make the prices”.
I gave up and told her that was fine so “Ring me up Miss attitude.”
She didn’t like that so she grabbed the items from me and said “Ma’am, I am not selling these to you today because you’re being rude to me.”
I told her she absolutely was going to sell them to me and that she did not get to refuse to sell me items because of her personal feeling for me. She proceeded to have an emotional breakdown. I told her that she needed to stop being so hateful. Her face started trembling and twitching and she told me in and elevated voice “Lady you don’t even know me”.
I didn’t want to know her. I just wanted my products because they were the only ones who carried them in town. She was so emotionally unhinged that I told my daughter to start recording her on video because I didn’t know what direction she was going to go or if she may have even become combative and I wanted it documented. This made her angry and she told us she was not going to be videoed.
I told her I was not leaving without what I came for and for the second time to go get her manager. She called her manager saying “I need you to come up here because apparently I have an attitude.”
I reaffirmed her and said “You do have an attitude.”
She grabbed the items off the counter and walked away telling me she wasn’t going to give them back. It was the most CHILDISH and OUTLANDISH behavior I have seen on public display in a long time. She was like a big 3 year old running off with my fabric glue! Like a little kid who wouldn’t give my stuff back.
CRAZY STUFF
It was so ridiculous that it was hard not to laugh at the whole situation. I walked after her and told her I was going to go get my items again from the shelf.
So the manager comes up. Nice sensible cool lady. She gives me this head shake as if she already knew. I was able to ask her my original question about online pricing vs in store pricing and she agreed that it didn’t seem right. She was sensible and apologized about the previous encounter. She told me she would handle the situation accordingly.
JoAnn’s Fabrics has gone so far downhill and their prices are so incredibly expensive. I have no idea how they will stay open. We were astonished how ridiculous they were. For example, a cheap pencil bag that you would find at the dollar tree was 9.99. Some trim I found there last year was $17/yard and I found the same exact trim at their competitor for $1.50/yard.
Besides being disappointed with prices, the attitude of the girl I dealt with was beyond bad customer service. It was neurotic unhinged unstable behavior.
JoAnn’s won’t last long like this. So sad because JoAnn’s used to be the go-to place for crafts but especially fabric. It’s what they’re known for.
From now on I will do my best to avoid this store unless I just have to have it. Hopefully this same combative person won’t still be there.

Bought a Serger, machine had an issue took it back the next day had receipt the store manager on duty said OH WE DONT DO RETURNS ON MACHINES, there was no signs up stating that they do not accept returns was advised to leave machine and store would contact corporate and they might issue a refund and might mail me a check no where in the store was there a sign that says no returns on machines nor is it on my receipt. When I asked for corporate's number was told to look it up on line because managers do not have the number.
Both days received worst customer service ever. I attempted to call the store 4 times before I drove 50 miles to return machine so now I am out over 200 dollars for the machine plus the diesel I spent to make the trip to return it. I shop a lot at Joanne's for fabric I will not shop here again I will pay the extra money per yard to shop else wherè.

Lady named Amy closed the store ten minutes early, with me and my sister still shopping for fabric for my niece's birthday. She then proceeded to yell at us to hurry up and get out of the store in two to three minute increments. She then made fun of us with the other worker for "laughing and playing around" when in reality i told my sister to hury up and she nervous laughed and said she was trying. We were looking for a single piece of elastic and two fat quarters so it wouldn't have taken long. Amy continued to yell at us, and my sister tried to explain that she was just trying to grab something really quick, and we weren't trying to mess around. She then yelled at her, saying she was disrespectful to even talk to her at it. My sister then set her things back down, choosing to leave the hostile environment as she didn't feel comfortable now having to approach her to check out. However then the door was locked, so on her way over, Amy then said "oh, hold on, let me unlock the door so you can storm out." My sister then said that's so rude and disrespectful. Amy then cut her off and said, "No, you are. It's called consideration of others." I responded as I walked out that she had locked the door before closing, and we had done nothing wrong. Amy continued to yell at us and say no, no, you're being assertive and aggressive, and you need to leave. Again, my sister had been trying to leave before Amy approached us yelling. She then threatened that if we didn't leave, she would call the police to remove us. The worst customer service ever and we knew what we were looking for; it could have been an easy 4 minute trip, Amy had to be a 'karen'. I sincerely hope there's repercussions for her actions, as she left my sister in tears and my niece now has no birthday gift. Gently reminding a customer that you are closing soon is one thing but yelling at a teenager who is actively working on trying to get out of the store (who also responded to your first comment about it with a quick 'yes ma'am we will be out asap') is completely unacceptable. If I could go lower than one star, I would.

They practice something akin to false advertisement. The advertised price changes due to an unreasonable explanation; and not all staff are cordial.

The Google maps has your closing listed as 8:00pm. I arrived at 7:30pm and the doors were locked and you were turning off the lights. No notice posted in the window. It was not a holiday. It was not inclement weather. Very poor customer service. I will contact the manager and corporate office to see if they are aware of these practices as I see by other reviews that this is not the first time this has happened.
