My recent stay at Motel 6 was a complete disaster, and I strongly urge others to avoid this property at all costs. On my last day, I discovered the room was a blatant health hazard. The roof was covered in mold and water damage, with visible black spots and dampness that posed a serious risk of respiratory issues. Loud neighbors had kept me awake all night, making rest impossible. Outside my window, a barbecue grill was set up dangerously close to the building, creating a fire hazard and filling my room with irritating smoke. The television was non-functional, offering no entertainment, and the front office reeked heavily of marijuana, suggesting an unsafe and unprofessional environment.
Motel 6’s reservation policy promises refunds for conditions posing health hazards or failing basic standards, yet they refused to honor this. When I reported these issues on my last day, I called the on-site manager, only to be yelled at aggressively over the phone. The manager dismissed my concerns with hostility, refusing any assistance or resolution, which turned an already intolerable situation into a humiliating ordeal. I contacted Booking.com, through which I booked, but they have failed to provide any resolution as of my departure.
These conditions—mold exposure, fire risks, sleeplessness, broken amenities, and unprofessional conduct—rendered the room uninhabitable, violating both implied habitability standards and Motel 6’s refund policy. The fact that I uncovered all this on my final day left me with no opportunity to seek alternative lodging, compounding the distress. Attached photos of the moldy ceiling, water-stained roof, and barbecue setup outside my window serve as undeniable proof. I am pursuing a chargeback due to the complete failure to deliver paid services, and I implore others to steer clear unless significant improvements are made.
Motel 6 must be held accountable for this egregious neglect and disrespect.

Subject: Wrongful Eviction, Hostile Staff, and a Frightening Experience - Avoid at all costs.
My recent experience at the Motel 6 in Bryan, Texas, was a nightmare from start to finish. I want to share my story so that other travelers can be warned.
I booked and paid for a room for a [3]-day stay. Upon check-in, the front desk staff made a serious error and checked me into a room that was more expensive than the one I had reserved. This was not my mistake; it was a clear administrative error on their part. customer service issue; it is a business failure. The staff's negligence, hostility, and false reporting to law enforcement and gave me no trespassing citation management was not
Just rude—they were dangerous and unprofessional. I have filed a formal complaint with Motel 6 corporate, and I am pursuing all legal and financial avenues to hold them accountable.

Safety: Few Shadies just like the rest motels and hotels in b/cs.

Rooms: The room is great in love that it has a kitchen in it so that I can cook thank yall so much for allowing me and my family to stay

They need to spend some serious time to maintain the rooms. The one we stayed in is missing a lot of stuff, like a hair dryer, clothes hangers, and a coffee maker. I know you can get them from the front desk but I was too tired to walk there that night. Also, I stepped on a live German cockroach during the one night stay there.

Friendly clerk and easy check-in. Room is old and worn but was clean and bed was comfortable. Toilet ran but minor nucience. The pet rest area needs to be maintained - it was NOT mowed and covered with sticker weeds - no grass at all. Very small area and totally not usable. No excuse for this neglect.
