The services for estimating the necessary space are completely inept and inaccurate. You will need to use AT LEAST 50% more space than the estimate if not double it.

Nope, nope, nope. They give a discounted quote up front (even uploaded it to their own portal for our move), then charged us full price when it came time to deliver. After weeks I finally got them to reimburse, but it was ridiculous I even had to go through that. Then they never shipped the pod container from our old home across the country to the local warehouse, so we had to wait an additional 2 weeks nearly to get our things delivered. But the cherry on top was driving up to see the delivery guy putting the pod in the WRONG driveway on the day of final delivery. It was a horrible experience all the way around. These guys are a very expensive joke.

I hate moving...PODS made the experience of relocating less painful! i could visit my POD anytime if i needed to it was picked up and returned when they said they would. I would recommend this service to anyone needing to move; whether it be across the street or across the country! Great job!

It was easy! They dropped off the container on the specified day, picked it up and moved it across the country so it was at our new house when we got there. We unloaded and they came and got the container. Very smooth and easy! Great customer service and friendly representatives.

Tried getting a pod delivered for home renovation in navasota tx but says they don't service this area 77868. Don't understand if the truck can't come 30mins down tx 6 but I had to get another company out of Houston to get one delivered. Might want to update service area to get customers

Everyone makes mistakes. It's the effort and sincerity you put into correcting mistakes that sets some companies above others. I was over charged $558 and have spent no less than four hours trying to get this corrected. Their customer service, unit tracking, and billing is a disaster. I ordered two pods and was only billed for one. Ironically had I just paid for the one pod and not try and do the right thing I would have only paid half price and not wasted several frustrating hours communicating with people who could not or would not fix the problem. They have now billed me for multiple invoices that are not correct and have yet to refund these fraudulent charges despite nearly a MONTH having past since their pods where picked up. Look around at the comments of this service, this is not an anomaly, this is PODS.

Super disappointed in this company. My pod was delivered 5 hours after delivery time. I couldn’t get in contact with the driver. Every time I called the company for an update, they kept giving me the run around. This company is extremely unprofessional and had the worst service. When I finally got in contact with the company all they could offer was $50 off a over $1300 bill. If you can use a different moving company, please do.

Pods canceled my delivery about 2 hours before my delivery time. I was told I would get a full refund due to them not being able to provide the service agreed upon. Pods takes your initial payment 1 week before they deliver so they had already taken over $1000 for the delivery and 1st month storage. It has been over 4 weeks since they canceled my delivery, I call weekly and ask when I can expect my refund. Every week I’m told it will be 5-7 days. They have basically stolen my money and didn’t provide the service.

I'm going to be leaving 2 reviews - 1 for PODS Corporate and 1 for PODS local. They are 2 VERY different entities.Working with the local offices is a dream! They come in like saviors. The drivers were kind and amazing - on both ends of the trip. The local managers were kind, accommodating and easy to work with. They care about their customers. Gary in Temple, Texas should be snatched up by anyone who needs a good customer service oriented manager - he totally gets it! He should be the one in charge.PODS corporate is an absolute nightmare. The call center will bring you to tears. I'm a high school teacher, invincible, and it did me more than once! When I was arranging to have our PODS delivered to us, we discovered that the center had entered the incorrect zip code. As a result, they tried to first charge us an additional $1100 and then say our area wasn't serviced - despite the fact I could see there was a local office less than 15 minutes from my new home. Every single part of working with corporate PODS was dysfunctional and time consuming - trying to arrange the pick-up took 6 1/2 hours...a drive from Rapid City to Denver. I went through 12 people. At the end of the call, I was no closer to having the PODS delivered than I was at the beginning of the call. We would have been better served to have professional movers given that we were charged over $7000 by the time it was all said and done. Do NOT go with PODS if you have to work with the call center. It is not worth the time or effort. Work only with a local office. PS. PODS is owned by the Ontario Teacher's Union. One would think teachers might be treated with a bit more respect.Replying to the below: Seamless? It wasn't even close to seamless until the local folks got involved. Your corporate entity is absolutely awful. You are very fortunate to have local folks who care as much as they do about their work. I'm not quite sure how you remain in business were it not for them. You should absolutely close the call center and center all of your business to local offices!

This review is for Gary Davis!! Gary was a life saver. Their forklift broke and they missed my delivery date yesterday. However Gary called 1st thing in the morning to let me know what was going on and that I may face some delays but they working with the mechanic to solve the issues asap. Night came and I receive an update from Corp PODS that my Pod was going to be deliver on the 12th!!!! I almost had a heart attached, I am moving from FL to TX with 2 small children so you can only imagine the disaster I was facing on moving day which is TODAY! well I called PODS (corporate) after about an hour in hold they were useless no even giving me hope that I will get my stuff this weekend, the best they could do was the 7th of JULY, 6 days after my scheduled date. So I remember Gary!! he called me from his phone early that morning so I text Gary after hours and prayed he will answer me and he did! he was the most understanding and kind person. He told me he will do his best to get my POD delivered today! He called me 1st thing this morning and let me know it was in his way to be deliver! and I just got the text from him telling me that he did! Thank you Gary people like you is what gives me hope in humanity, you save the day, the week and the month!!! we are forever grateful for going above and beyond to help an stranger.
