Ampersand's Pastelbords are the very best medium I have found, from San Francisco, to Chicago, to Baltimore for my oil pastel work, Hands down, face down (no I am Not planking), I am geeking out over their product. When I discovered they were right down the road from where I have planted for a spell, the next open day they had, I was walking through the doors, not the least bit intimidated by the 'non-artsy seeming gurus of my arising life. As I bubbled in barely contained giddy excitement, i also discovered 'i was speaking with owner. It is much bigger on the inside. I was intrigued by the 'doctor standing before me. before I knew it, I was asking if I could come by and watch the process. No, not if maintain drying funny guy....I see you....Any how, they agreed! Also, they do not sell art supplies at this location, make make Laverne & Shirley dreams come true, and this time, no Squiggy! *Squeeeeeeeee!*”
