B & B Quilting is a local Buda, Texas business that carries supplies for making quilts, with over 5,000 bolts of 100% cotton fabric and patterns, books, rulers, and everything a quilter needs. The shop specializes in 1800's reproductions, batiks, 1930's, and many other types of fabrics, including floral designs, stately or muted tones, plaids, and seasonal selections. The fabric selection is wonderful, loaded with all sorts of great prints not seen elsewhere, with an ample selection of colors and more exciting fabrics. The little place is much more intimate and less distracting than a big box store. It is very well organized, featuring old school furniture like old Singers and repurposed letter cubbies filled with free inspirational postcards. There is a space in the back with a large table for various lessons and classes, and a restroom is available for customers. Everyone is so friendly and lovely. The employees and owners are welcoming and perfectly happy to let you browse but are only a request away if you need help. Customers love that they can hold fabrics together to assure matching colors and texture, noting there is nothing like it. Visitors find it an excellent little shop, a new favorite place, and are very impressed, vowing to support it and return.
