Eli and Mar were great went in looking for the cheapest phone! Got a Samsung for $86. They helped me in less than 20 I had a phone.

I recently visited the Cricket Phone Store in Buda, TX, and I must say my experience was a complete turnaround from a previous visit a few months ago, which was quite disappointing. On September 25, 2024, I was fortunate enough to be assisted by Mar, who provided exceptional service.
Mar was incredibly helpful and took the time to explain the new phone lines, plans, and accessories. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor made the process enjoyable. She genuinely cared about my needs and ensured I understood all my options without feeling rushed or pressured.
I left the store feeling very satisfied with my purchase and the service I received. If you're in Buda and need assistance with your phone needs, I highly recommend visiting this store and asking for Mar! Thank you for turning my experience around!

Horrible experience. Jacob Pickering recommended me a cricket debut s2. I needed a good working phone fast as possible as I broke it that day and needed to hear back from my family/divorce lawyer. Although the SIM card appeared to work, the phone was so laggy I was never able to get passed initial setup without it constantly crashing. I ended up missing a vital call and might not be able to see my kids more than 2 days a week (as well as a significant amount of my wages garnished). Thanks Jacob hope you sleep well at night๐๐๐๐๐๐

I would highly recommend avoiding this location. I've encountered an unfortunate experience with the most unprofessional, untrustworthy Cricket employee, named Lesley R. I had purchased a Motorola phone and 4 days later, I was unable to access any of my texts or calls, so I reported to the same location for assistance. Lesley stated that the account was suspended due to nonpayment. I showed my online payment was reflected and confirmed with the account indicating zero balance. She then contacted the Cricket customer service line and I waited over 45 minutes for their resolution. I informed her that I needed to return to work as soon as possible, with the ability to access my phone service and text, in order to log into my telecommuting position. I was willing to remit a duplicate payment just to override the block and Cricket could reimburse me later, once the service was restored. She offered no other solution, therefore, I requested to return the phone and that I would resume with my previous carrier Sprint. Lesley stated the store policy would not allow return products, unless there was a technical issue with the device. I contested that my receipt doesn't indicate her claim as valid. According to the refund policy, any devices were completely returnable for 7 days of purchase. This was day 4 from the purchase date. She refused and stated that she can call her manager, however, when I agreed to speak directly with her manager, she refused, changing her story, stating that she was the manager and she was attempting to assist me, however I needed to pay a $5 reactivation fee. She lacked total credibility and absolutely pitiful that she thinks that customers are so dense to take her word at face value. She had no badge or business card indicating her title. When I insisted on speaking to her manager, Lesley snapped back and stated she had a right to refuse me service. From that point, it was clear that I was dealing with an irrational employee and informed her that I would file a complaint with their corporate office. Immediately, another Cricket staff intervened, logged into the system, and waived the $5 re-activation fee within seconds. I spent over an hour and 20 min debating with the most belligerent, Cricket employee that no customer should ever have experienced. This issue will definitely be escalated and reported to the Cricket corporate division for final retribution.
