Maybe this location should change their opening time to 10am. I’ve went to this location 3 different times only to be told by the district manager that they are short staffed and they can’t open the store.

This store sells lots of expired food. Be very careful. Expired frozen items, boxed item and canned goods. Highly illegal. Beware stay safe.

I want to give zero stars, but that's not an option. The first time I let it fly, but tonight I decided to give corporate my opinion. It's 940 pm on May 13 2025 and I walk up to the doors to find that they closed early again. Why post a time of 10pm close time if you close your doors 20 min till. I find it mine blowing that a corporate business allows this. That's losing business, equals losing out on money I was going to spend. But then after reading all the reviews, it looks as if changes need to be made

I once worked here. They don't value motivated workers. They don't value their customers. It's why I left.
So it's 8:30 am November 11, 2024 and an employee is just sitting outside the door waiting on someone to open the store. Laziness and a don't care attitude are a frequent staple on the table of opinion in this store. The employees complain about management every time I swing by to visit; not because they are spoiled, but because they know "do better" isn't meant to be a virtue signal.
Prices don't match, shelves are often bare; I saw three carts of penny items go out the door yesterday. Someone isn't doing their job. What a morale to pitch to your team.

Store acting supervisor or Mgr (African American man) is the most unmotivated and "don't give a damn about my job"person in charge I have ever encountered. I shopped at this place twice, and both times prices in the aisles and the prices at the cash registers never match. No need to say which ones are higher. Couldn't believe that this particular store is unshamefully practicing switch and bait tactics right in front of customers.
I insisted to this "I don't care" Mgr that his mistakes or lack of motivation to update inventory's pricing is not patrons' fault or responsibility; we pay what is listed in the aisles and not what he thinks or his database says.
2 different times with at least 1 month between visits, same results. The very last time I was there I told the Mgr that I was going to write a review about this and he simply told me that "he didn't care". He said that corporate determines the prices and he just follows the rules! I understand all of that SIR, however your shelves say otherwise than what corporate says! I'm a patron and I pay what is written on the shelves or affixed on items in your store! What do you spend your time doing all day long SIR??? If not making sure that your store is ready for your customers???
I have never been there since and won't ever again.
Why should I support mediocrity even if it's a neighborhood store?

This dollar general is always empty.
I asked one of their employees for stuff and they said if the app says it’s in stuck it’s probably in the back which they never bring out for purchases. I’m submitting a report to dollar general because is awful to come to store and seeing and the shelves employ yet all the stuff still in the back in boxes because their lazy employees don’t wanna put stuff out

This store went severely downhill in quality ever since they let Amber go. Opening late into the afternoon due to "under staffing issues" how embarrassing lol. Very avoidable problems created by upper management.

Your store number is wrong! When you need to call them to tell them they overcharged you AND did not put all the items in the basket, you can't even call. You have to waste gas to drive over. Come on, Dollar General...........you can do better. Also, the price on the shelf does not match what the register rings up. Fraud!
