Tax rep was on his phone throughout our interaction texting and taking a personal call through our interaction. Didn't explain information clearly and overall didn't seem to care about our meeting.

Can we get this place shut down or at least a new staff of personnel ???!!!!??!! No one here is professional, I came to them pride aside and let them ( I shouldn’t even say them it was one lady named Jamie ) know my situation and all I wanted was to file for
My stimulus check. Well I let Jaime know that I could get the paperwork off of the irs website but me doing it would take awhile and she assure me that her doing it and filing would be 4 weeks max ! So here I am 9 weeks later and I get a letter in the mail ( not my stimulus checks ) saying they need proof of my 21 tax return ( I was incarcerated for 20-23 and let miss jaime know this and she assure me it would be easier and quicker because I had no proof of income) OHH AND HER ASSURANCE OF ALL THIS CAME WITH A 100 DOLLAR CASH APP PAYMENT ….. this is just my experience ?

as I’m waiting for my appointment what I hear behind a cubicle ?
FIRST OF ALL I FELT SO BAD TO AND OLD COUPLE WHO JUST LEFT. As I’m waiting I hear OH SH!t THE LADY ACCIDENTALLY PUSH SUBMIT! This old couple was to come back and continue their tax preparation after they went to go to their bank to get their finances together. AND THE LADY ACCIDENTALLY PUSHED SUBMIT! I was OMG! AT THAT POINT I WAS LIKE WE SHOULD LEAVE. Those people were having some issues with their taxes and now the lady handing them made it worse. Then they call my name. I’m next. AND THE LADY MARIA HAD NO EXPERIENCE TO HANDLE MY TAXES. Which the younger lady at the front desk said she “specializes “ in my tax return field. She was there today. Yesterday that young girl made us an appointment to come back today. We went in as a walk in. NEVER AGAIN! Won’t come back OR H&R BLOCK. DONT COME HERE YALL. Glad they couldn’t do my taxes. They probably would have messed up my taxes. Go somewhere else.

Our experience was not great. I booked with H&R Block to reduce the stress of doing our taxes and the entire experience felt chaotic and confusing. I caught multiple mistakes and the Sr. Tax pro we booked with missed an opportunity for us to reduce our tax liability, which we luckily found on our own. The one positive experience was the manager’s willingness to correct the problem and work with us when we found the mistakes. When we were assigned a new Tax Pro, Teresita, things resolved quicker and she seemed to be more caring/responsive than the original person we worked with. Overall it was a disappointing experience. I would suggest H&R Block prioritize hiring tax pros that lead with empathy, care, and understanding AND those that are willing to do the work to figure out where potential opportunities are for lowering a tax bill.

Another cash grab for tax payers that doesn’t really look into all the potential write offs. Customer service isn’t great either. You’d be better off going with an actual cpa.

Their mistake on my daughter’s taxes and then never submitted her information which she missed the deadline. Didn’t let her know. Still haven’t reimbursed her the fee she paid for a service they didn’t do! Horrible customer service!!!!
