WARNING!!! STAY AWAY from Lamb Tire and Automotive in Buda, TX. If I could, I would give them a Zero-star rating. I showed up to my appointment 15 minutes early. After getting my information, one of the first things Lamb employee working at the counter told me was that after the you pay for the diagnosis, it might be a while before we can get ahold of my warranty company (by CarMax) because, according to him, the CarMax warranty company has them holding on the phone for over 4-hours at a time! And majority of the times they can't get through to them? Then the logical question would be, why does Lamb accept this warranty?! Why advertise/enroll in a program that you accept CarMax clients with the MaxCare Plan? Why does Lamb Tire and Automotive enroll in the CarMax vehicle warranty program? You obviously have a difficult time submitting any repair claim with the CarMax affiliated warranty company. My instant thought was that sounds odd. Does Lamb Auto even want to do business with customers with CarMax's warranty? And if not, then why even accept CarMax warranty customers? In the following days, as I asked for a status update, I got the same response: no one at the warranty company was picking up the phone; this occurred day after day. I would ask them to please call the warranty company so we can move forward with the repair. And each time they would say they couldn't get a hold of the warranty company!? That makes no sense! They charged me $122 for a diagnosis, and I feel like they never really intended to reach out to the warranty company. I realized that these guys (lamb) were going to drag their feet, and they had no motivation to fix my vehicle using the CarMax warranty company. This company is dishonest and wasted a lot of my time and energy. I would have been fine if they had told me upfront that they have will not be able to fix my vehicle because they didn't want to deal with the warranty company. Instead, they gave me the run-around. In the end, I went to another auto repair service company, and guess what? They were able to get in touch with the warranty company immediately! The claim got approved, and the part is on its way. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from these guys! They will give you the run-around. I will never do business with them again!

I brought my car for an issue that had started a few days prior. I brought it there because it was authorized by my warranty company. I waited 4 days and they sent me a text about what was going on, I assumed that they submitted a claim because I emailed them all of the information, because that was what they asked me to do. I was called two days later and told that my claim was denied, I picked up my car when I was off of work. I then called the warranty company and was told that they had not been contacted at all. I was told that I caused this problem and that is why they wouldn't cover it. Then I was charged 122.00 dollars, when they did absolutely nothing, except take pictures of the underside of my car. Thoroughly disappointed.

***WARNING, ACTUAL RATING SHOULD BE ZERO STARS*** Never again. This Lamb's Tire and Automotive is absolutely terrible. I bought one tire and an oil change and they first tried to bill me well over $600. I immediately questioned it, and it turns out that they "mistakenly" billed me for an alignment too, it was just a "recommended service". That was the moment I feared they were trying to rip me off. From that moment on I believed that they were intentionally trying to over bill/ steal from me. Then the tire wasn't in stock, but it'll be here today. My intuition was right, that after I had to chase them down for a status twice, oops not going to get to it today. And of course the manager was just moments away from calling me back. Oh, and the truck with the tire broke down, short staffing, they sent three guys to training and one was out due to a death in the family, etc. The tire was finally there at 4:45, which I found out by calling them, but I was told that because of other tire installations that they couldn't get to it and weren't going to pay anyone overtime for that, but we can get to it first thing in the morning. So, try to over bill customers, string us along so we don't take our business somewhere else and then throw customer service completely out the window. I had to take off from work to go the shop and time from work to return to the shop the next day, which cost me time and money. I found the corporate phone number (520) 229-9380 and the saving grace was the District Manager Michael Sánchez. He called me at 7:30 pm. Such a great representative for the company. I could tell he had paved the way to having a better experience on my second trip to shop. Check your invoices and make sure to receive all of the pages...

Website advertised a particular tire. "7 in Stock". They had none. So I opted for a more expensive tire because they said it would take "about an hour". 2 1/2 hrs. later they were 2 new tires on my vehicle. The manager explained there were 6 cars ahead of me. Turns out that was exactly the number of cars ahead of me when they told me "about an hour". Misleading info got me in the door followed by more misleading info. They offered me no reason to ever go back. Shame.

Took my 2018 Lincoln MKX in for a nail in a tire,(wasn’t leaking bad unless the nail was pulled out). Asked them to fix tire and service while it was in their care. They called and said it was ready for pu, that it had been serviced and tire fixed and tires rotated.Took it home and noticed the nail was still in the tire and the tires were not rotated like had been agreed on. They forgot to fix the tire or it never got checked by the service manager. But did charge me! By the time I got home and notice it they were closed and didn’t reopen till Monday. I returned Monday and said please fix this tire as I was charged for it and I was on a tight schedule do not rotate tires. 2hrs. later the car was brought back up front and I was told the tire was fixed and the tires were rotated even after I told them not to. Thanks to Lambs I missed my next appointment and cost me $. They also said it needed a rear windshield wiper which I had just replaced two weeks earlier. Not a very trustworthy business they will never get any of my business again that’s for sure. BEWARE

I went in for an alignment check, after having my tires rotated and balanced where I bought tires more than a year ago (at Costco). Lamb's discovered the cause of the problem and made the needed repairs in less time than they predicted, and at a reasonable cost.

I took my Chevy Silverado to Lambs on a Monday because my transmission went out, by Friday my truck was at home. I was helped by Chris and he was always there to help and was upfront about everything, which I really appreciated. I’ll recommend bringing your vehicle to Lambs if you want good service and good work in a timely manner.

This service was amazing! My Hyundai Sonata had a check engine light and they diagnosed it and fixed it in no time! Chris stayed in communication with me at each step and worked with my schedule to get the repairs done in the same week! So fast and so kind!
