I came to grab some stuff from my unit for my business and this location is closed. The rental office is closed and there are no employees. The elevator is out of order, my access code didn’t work for access to the stairs and I went around the building to the side stairs and the door is closed as well. It’s currently 10:48am on a Thursday (12/18/25). I called customer service and they weren’t helpful.

Very friendly customer service on the phone and I appreciate it.
I moved out and turned off autopay last month. Then I got a charge for this month because I left the lock on. I’m pretty sure I removed it!
If that is the case, then Public Storage should give me a call and tell me I have a day to remove it before charging me for the whole month.
I turned off my auto pay so how did I still get charged? That should have triggered a phone call to me!
Thank you person on the phone.
I am upset that I’m trying to scrimp and save for Christmas and then this simple issue costs me a few hundred dollars.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this Public Storage location. When I arrived to move into my unit, I discovered it was heavily infested with spiders, making it completely unusable.
I immediately canceled my account that I had just booked online and was assured I would receive a refund. However, I was only refunded the cost of the lock not the rental fees I had paid for a unit I couldn't even use due to the infestation.
This is unethical business practice. I'm paying for a clean, usable storage space, and being given a spider-infested unit does not meet that basic standard. When a facility fails to provide the service in acceptable condition, customers should receive a full refund.
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding this matter. I strongly recommend inspecting any unit carefully before paying, and I cannot recommend this location until they address their pest control and refund policies.

The storage unit was disgusting and infested with spiders. I am still itching from it. The unit rental was canceled and the attendant said he would refund the cost for the unit because we never used it due to infestation of spiders. Days later, still waiting for the refund.

They lure people in with attractive online deals, then once you’re moved in, they raise the rent—often doubling the original price. It feels like they use customers who need storage, knowing most won’t want the hassle of moving their belongings again. What starts as a reasonable month-to-month rate quickly turns into something completely different, and the lack of transparency makes the experience feel misleading and unfair. Thanks Eric for offering no other solutions! Beware

Initially my experience with this particular location was typical. It was clean enough. Organized enough. Maintained well enough. In fact, there wasn’t anything about it that was even remotely memorable. Until one day I had an issue, went to the desk and met Latrice. This woman is a marvel. She was friendly, funny, concerned, attentive and efficient. She handled my issue quick as a cricket and sent me on my way smiling. I actually renewed my storage (albeit to a smaller unit) simply because of Latrice. Thank you Public Storage for providing us with genuinely concerned and caring staff. It makes all the difference

I am so happy with the Buda, TX Public Storage facility. Latrice is a total gem. She got back to me so fast after leaving a message to discuss my rates. Just the kindest customer service rep I have dealt with at a business in so long. I would appreciate if someone would recognize her as outstanding employee. The facility itself has been great to store my items in as well.

No One is Ever in the Office.Elevators Not Operating Half the Time.
Units are Not Very Clean.We Had to Sweep Out Our Unit & Cob Webs.
