This was my second visit to this location, and I had made a fasting appointment. I arrived early and patiently waited as others with earlier appointments checked in and were seen. However, I told by a patient exiting the lab that overheard the staff say they couldn’t assist me until closer to my appointment time. At that moment, there were no other patients waiting or checked in, and I was more than an hour early for my appointment.
When I inquired, I was informed that I couldn’t be seen until 30 minutes before my appointment due to a system issue that prevented them from seeing my name. I had my lab requisition in hand. This experience was frustrating. If you plan to arrive early for your appointment, be aware that it might not be worth it to even make an appointment, or consider going to a different lab all together.
1. The staff should have been more professional and empathetic by informing me of the policy regarding early arrivals.
2. Quest needs to address their system issues. When I checked in, I selected “walk-in,” fully aware I was outside my appointment time.
Ultimately, I left without getting my labs drawn today. I hope Quest can improve in these areas.

A 2 hour wait for a blood draw when no one was in the waiting room. A complete waste of time. If a human was checking you in then maybe the wait time would have been less because they can see that NO ONE was waiting in the frickin wait room.

Had an apt but there was a long line to check in and I missed the window. Made me reschedule for an hour and half later. First employee I spoke to was rude, the next nicer but told me there was nothing they could do. They were taking walk-ins before me completely cleaned out the lobby of people with no patients being seen and had me wait till my new time. This is horrible customer service. One employee was rude enough to tell me I should have checked in with my phone. How was i supposed to know that???? Blaring music from the back it can be heard through the walls. What kind of joke is all of this?

I will never use Quest Diagnostics again. I prefer to die. Today I had an appointment at this location. It seems that woman named Betty C does not want customers. I had an appointment I arrived on time . The room was full. The check-in said that I would be texted when they were ready. After 30 minutes I had no text so I went to ask if there was a problem and Betty C told me she had called me and my appointment was cancelled so I ask if I' could do walk in and she told me “ get out of here” and come back some other time. So I made another appointment for an hour later. She came and told me to leave because she called the police. So I waited hoping she would just draw my blood. Sure enough the police came. I am a 75 year old woman just trying to get a blood draw. I promise Quest I will never darken your door again and with this kind of treatment I am sure I won’t be alone.

I walked in this morning to this Buda Quest location inside Walmart to get some blood labs done. I was able to get an appointment for 11 minutes after I waned in. Tamala, my phlebotomist, was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I’m not afraid of needles or blood, but I still didn’t look. She did a great job! She was able find the vein right away.
And overall, this location has at least three phlebotomists which makes it easier to get an appointment and be seen quickly.

Super easy to register, check-in and get the services done. Loved that I received a text confirmation with address, map link, and check-in link.

I've been coming here for my regular blood draws for about 4 years. The phlebotomists are very skilled and there is typically little notice as they perform their duties.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The location was convenient with easy check in and results came in less than one day. Simple portal to access information.

I went in today to have blood drawn for labs. The phlebotomist was rough, and even infiltrated my vein leaving me with a hematoma.

Worst service ever!!! I was a walk in, signed in, machine said it may be up to an hr, it was in a grocery store, did some quick shopping, came back in 25 minutes, told them, they said they already called my name and for me sign in again, do I did, my fault. Later a girl came in, signed in, walk in like me, then walked out, like me, they called a name, no response, she came in about 10 minutes later and I told her, they may have called her name, and had asked me to to sign back in, she tapped on the door, like me, and they let her In!!! Unlike me, then I waited an additional 40 minutes, when the girl came out, she thanked me for the heads up! Don’t understand your policy, it wasn’t age, I’m 65, she was in her 30’s, I’m Hispanic she was white as was the attendant. But what rally got my goat was the attendant, she didn’t even give me eye contact when she told me I had to sign in again. Like she was unhappy to be there!!! If she didn’t want to work on a sat, she should find a job that does not require that! But no eye contact really made me frustrated. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy, I have cancer and deal with MD Anderson and Houston Methodist. You can guarantee I’ll be telling both facilities!! Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves. I’ve had my blood drawn so many times these past few years, never have I been treated as your establishment gave me!!! Can you tell how mad I am? Gonna tell both hospitals this story, might even paste it in my Facebook, I’ve got a lot of friends that are with me on this journey called cancer!!!

Tamela was great. Incredibly friendly, efficient, and painless. Can’t recommend her enough. I appreciate for her time very much!!
