I would like to give a shout out to Julia! She always makes sure a customer gets all the discount coupons available to them. My past visit those were not made available to me when another associate handled my transaction. This saved me over $30+, she should be training on customer service as well. Polite, smiling and always ready to make someones day.

I have used the Buda Walmart pharmacy for 17 years. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and takes time to answer my questions. Eventho Ruth, one of the pharmacists, is always busy she has taken time to help me choose supplements from the shelves. This pharmacy deserves five stars.

Wow, Ruth is a popular person. I'll add Joel to this list. Complete jerk and doesn't give 2 ***** about the customer. He has the demeanor that you're an indigent and you're wasting his time. I recently left Walgreens here in Buda b/c their customer service is pretty bad. I still get texts from Walgreens about prescriptions to fill. I had a prescription at Walmart in Buda that I could pick up on Wednesday, June 7th. I called the Buda Walmart Pharmacy 2 days later on Friday, June 9th to get their weekend hours and to ensure my prescription was ready. For some reason, Ruth canceled it. I have NO idea why; I sure as hell didn't ask her to. So, as I'm trying to find out what happened, I went through my calls on my cell and found that I got (an incoming) call from Walmart on Wednesday (June 7th) at 6:08pm while I was driving home from work. I'm guessing it was Ruth asking me about picking up my prescription. One question I have is why in the hell would any pharmacy call you on the first day your prescription is able to be picked up? Why would Walmart be calling me? At the time, I didn't know who it was and assumed it was Walgreens calling, asking about prescriptions I had with them (as I mentioned earlier, they still send notifications). So I semi-interrupted the person and said I'm not gonna do any business with them anymore, the services is awful. The person on the phone (apparently Ruth) said oh ok. I replied saying "this is Walgreens right?" and she replied yes. So I said "Sorry" and that was the end of the call. WTF wouldn't she stop me and say no no, this is Walmart Pharmacy, not Walgreens? Clearly I did not know it was them. I never knew it was them until I called Friday and found out they canceled it. This is the ONLY thing I can think of that happened. If it really was Walgreens calling that day, then the only other possible explanation is they got me mixed up with another customer. So I tried to explain this to Joel. He said I have to wait til Ruth comes back the following Thursday. That was BS! I don't have enough meds to last til then. I asked if he could call her. He says no, she's out of town. I asked if she had a cell phone. He said they don't bother their employees when their off. WOW! This is pretty ******* bad! I could understand if this was ANY other field but we're talking about medicine. Hell I work in IT and even then, I go waaay out of my way to assist the customer because I enjoy helping others. I found out today (Saturday, June 10th) that regardless if Ruth comes back on Monday and agrees to fill it, my doctor still has to call in another prescription because she canceled it. Joel says he "already told me I had to wait til she got back". Well, Joel, you DID NOT tell me a new Rx had to be submitted. This could delay it further if I hadn't asked! I'll never use them again folks. I know it's hard to find a good place to do business these days, but this is not it! This has been an awful stress on me. However, if you are forced to use them, I recommend talking with Kathy. She is very down to earth and pleasant to talk to, unlike Joel and, from reading other reviews, unlike Ruth as well. God bless! Megan is Always very helpful and polite. My meds are always ready and I get a text message to remind me they are ready.

It is clean, staff is efficient and professional. I have not encountered any problems such as the ones mentioned in other comments.

The pharmacists and pharm techs here are very kind and knowledgeable. They fill my prescriptions in good time, and it's very convenient to pick them up when I'm grocery shopping, or just by going through the drive-thru

I have used this pharmacy for many years. Granted, there have been variations in the abilities of some pharmacy tech trainees over the years but under the direction of Dr. Ruth Moreno, Pharm.D., the business operation and quality of pharmacy services is the best yet. I have found their records are accurate and the pharmacists' knowledge of old and new products and drugs is exceptional. Their coordination with local medical practitioners, drug insurance companies, and working within Walmart pharmacy policies, is excellent. I couldn't ask for more.

Worst pharmacy ever. Pulling all our prescriptions today. They are the rudest and laziest bunch of people I've had to deal with. Everything is always a fiasco, and nothing is every ready timely. Save your time and go elsewhere. I'll pay double to never deal with them again.
