I have shopped here a few times a week since this store opened. The manager and old crew were always so friendly. We always stopped and talked for a moment. That place deserved nearly a 5 star rating for a while.
The new crew is something else. Hearing that my husband was called a jerk for simply wearing a “We The People Need Jesus” shirt and others like it. He is so incredibly friendly and genuinely kind. Voting differently than you or following God really causes issues these days. If you want to call him a jerk then that’s fine. He let it go. But tonight I sat in the car and watched one worker walk out and the other throwing f-bombs and throw a little temper tantrum because she didn’t want to check my husband and daughter out at the register. They didn’t know I was watching. I now feel uncomfortable bringing my children in and will not be back. I had no need for that store anyway, but grew accustomed to it because of the people that worked there. Please do better.

I have shopped this store since they opened and I am 65 years old but the crazy manager ID checked me today for a disposable lighter. She knows who I am and yet the total disrespect of a good customer is beyond my comprehension. I hope she gets reprimanded for such poor customer service skills . I will drive an extra 6 miles to the next store if I need anything in the future. I would not ever recommend this store to anyone.

This Dollar General is the best.
The employees are fonomanal and very caring.
Tina and Felicia are store fixtures they work so hard.
These ladies truly are the best examples of how employees are beneficial to the company and the company value to the customers.
Without employees like these ladies Dollar General would be a ghost town across the country.
I truly believe that they both should be recognized by the company for their hard work and customer support they show every customer who walks in.
It wouldn't hurt for the company to give them both raises and at least a weeks more paid vacation for a token of appreciation.
If I could I would give both of them 10 stars they are that good.

Has anyone had customer service issues at the Dollar General on 2629 E Renfro St, Burleson, TX 76028? I've been in twice and there's a certain male employee that is super condescending and straight up rude! Last time I went in and he stared at me the entire time I was in line because he could see I had a return. It was a small return but he already had an attitude as soon as I stepped up to the counter. He kept looking me up and down and rolling his eyes and snickering when he thought I wasn't looking. Then he'd do things wrong and give me wrong instructions but would get impatient when I didn't understand and acted like I was the idiot. It was a truly AWFUL experience and I've never been treated like that before. It was like my very presence was a huge imposition to him. It was bizarre. Then he snapped at me when I asked if I could deposit cash into my Chime app. Again another easy task that he couldn't figure out how to do but yet he acted like I was the problem. Through all of this I still remained patient and polite and respectful. I was never unkind. I have NO idea why he treated me that way. I was going to swing back around and buy a few things but he upset me so much I just left the store as fast as possible. I went and got in my car and thought what in the world was that?! I won't EVER set foot back into that store thanks to this guy. He is awful. I can't be the only one he's treated that way. He struck me as not a nice person in general. And by the way, when he couldn't figure out how to deposit my cash through the Chime app, I left and went down the street to Walgreens and that cashier did it in less than 30 seconds and with a smile. No problem. Dollar General guy needs to learn how to better treat customers or DON'T work customer service!! I'm an educated kind person who gives respect and expects it in return. Don't treat me like an idiot. Disgraceful customer service!! Reported him to Corporate.

Honestly, sometimes the store can be OK but a lot of the time I hate going up there I only do it because it’s literally a quarter mile away but you’ll go in and have to deal with no one at the register whenever you can’t use the self check out and good luck with that you’ll be waiting 10 minutes before someone actually comes up there to help you don’t try and do chime up there put money on your card because one of the ladies will just lie and say the machine isn’t working which in reality she probably just doesn’t know how to do it all in all it sometimes a good store whenever they do have the stuff you’re looking for but about 75% of the time it shows better to go somewhere else

The A/C in the store is awful! It doesn't work. It is so hot, I had sweat running down my back just shopping for 10 min!!!! The poor workers are having to work in this heat. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE!!!!

What the heck is going on with this Dollar General, can't even walk around this place without almost tripping over all the boxes and cage like things ,horrible looking store , barely anyone working here ,needs new management or something

They dont carry newspapers. And the milk was expired.
