Halbert Farm is a source for friendly registered Kunekune pigs, perfect for pets or homesteads. The owners truly care about their animals and their well being. Visitors can book a farm experience, like a pig cuddle, where they are given a great tour and told everything about the pigs. The piggies are cute, healthy and beautiful. They love attention, belly scratches, and will lie down to be cuddled. There are big and small pigs, as well as dogs and miniature Zebu cows. The pigs can be aggressive for food. The owner is very friendly, patient, and takes time to answer all questions. It is an incredibly beautiful and amazing experience.
Great and fun experience! The animals are very loved and cared for. Josh is a wonderful tour guide and the pigs will go right up to him when called. We got to see turkeys, chickens, ducks, horses, donkeys, cows, dachshunds, and of course many pigs!

We did the “cuddle with kunekune pigs” tour. It was so much fun. The baby and adult pigs are so smart and cute. They are good cuddlers.
