This was our first visit and we were highly unimpressed. We arrived early for all of our documents like they recommended so it would not cut into our actual massage time. Our appointment was at 2:00pm. We were in the waiting room with multiple people, all which arrived later than we did and were all picked up before their 2:00 appointment time. We were picked up after 2 and were not beginning our massage until close to 2:15. I looked at the clock at 2:13 and we still had not begun. They abruptly finished at 2:50 leaving us with about a 40 minute massage. We did a couples massage which was a 10.00 charge more per person. We asked why the fee to be in the same room and were told we had access to more product the other rooms did not get. We had what we felt was plain "lotion" and nothing more or special of any kind of treatment! It was more than disappointing and we will not be going back!

I booked and had an issue online. You need to have a saved card on file due to cancellation. So instead I called in and booked and requested the massage for new customers $79.99 and facial. I didn’t get my facial with cold stones and when saying this to the front desk she rudely said oh she didn’t do that? I said no ? and she rolled her eyes and said I’ll take it off instead of rectifying the situation to get it done? Then proceeded and asked if I wanted to give a gratuity!?? I had a gift card $119.95 and just said sure just use the $20 remainder for a tip/gratuity but it was unprofessional at the front desk because after not fixing the situation proceeded to ask if I wanted to rebook or interested in services!? I would highly recommend going elsewhere! I felt unappreciated and this was my first massage ??♂️

The facial is supposed to be an hour. 50 mins hands on and 10 mins consultation. I was taken back at 250 and done by 330. Didn’t really feel like the price was worth it and I was shorted a lot of time. When i brought this up and asked if I got the right service and right amount of time they acted like being shorted 20 mins wasn’t a big deal. Don’t waste your time for the introductory special. You get what you pay for.

This is the second month in a row they canceled on me at the last minute. Last month they rescheduled, but this month have not been able to. I had put on the paperwork I turned in that I am under the care of an oncologist, but they failed to schedule me with someone who could do my massage this month. Very frustrating.

I bought a spa membership for my husband, but after a couple’s massage that was rushed, not that great, and 40min tops of 60 min, I cancelled the membership. Waiting on a call back because my credit card was still charged for the last 2 months. I know the time because I was a little annoyed on how long it took waiting in line to be taken back for our scheduled time after getting there 10min early, and waiting for over 15 min after our scheduled time. I understand businesses get busy, so waiting longer wouldn’t have been as big of an issue if our massage was the 60 minutes. An apology for fire sirens going off. Just not a good impression, and being owed $140 for 2 months unwanted and cancelled membership.

The facial I received was nice and relaxing and my face was left rehydrated. The downfall to my experience is that my daughter was receiving a facial as well and she did receive a nice facial but did not receive the neck and back massage that is part of the facial because she is allergic to aloe vera and they did not have any lotions without aloe. I also don't like that Hand and Stone is a "Membership Spa" so after my facial was over I received the push to sign up for the membership and book my next appointment. I bought a couple of extra gift cards as Christmas gifts prior to my facial and now wish I hadn't because I know my friends will receive the sales pitch and push for becoming a member after their relaxing time as well.

While I thought the service my daughter received for her birthday, soon became aware of bad business practice and horrible customer service. Let me explain. After her facial the young lady gave my 13 year old daughter "samples" to use on her face. While I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes listening to the cashier telling me about their memberships. I paid for the service along with tip. I left and noticed the next day they did an unauthorized charge to my credit card. I called this morning and was treated horribly by Meesha. Accusing us of taking items off the shelf and leaving with them. Which let me say is not true. She was very rude and nasty. Making me feel like we had stolen something. I am so upset and completely offended. If the girl gave my 13 year old something to use and didn't talk to me that is horrible business and sounds like a scam. I will be giving them the "samples" back and cancel my tip as well. BAD BUSINESS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never again!!! To take advantage of a 13 year old abs put unauthorized charges on my credit card.

My husband got me a massage here a while back and the massage was okay and the therapist was nice however my issue is with be business as a whole. I had an appointment scheduled and it was a very stressful day and the funds I had available for that went to something more important, I meant to call and cancel but ended up not but they didn't care that I was in a financial bind and couldn't make the appointment or call 24hrs before to cancel, no they're charging me 50% of the total massage as a cancellation fee putting me in an even bigger financial bind. All I can say is I'll never be back. This would've been my second time going as a new client and my first ever cancellation. GOOD JOB LOSING A POTENTIAL CLIENT WHEN ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS WORK WITH ME AND ACTUALLY BE UNDERSTANDING!
