I purchased a grill for my Husband for Fathers day. It was delivered as promised on Saturday. I was at work so my Husband was suppose to be surprised. Boy was he surprised. The grill is dirty, dented, tweaked, and broken. I called the Burleson HD because that is our HD and we shop there always. I spoke with a manager on duty. She was the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever spoken too. Needless to say, the Mansfield HD is taking care of the issue. Megan from Mansfield was most apologetic and assured me they will pickup this grill and get a new one out, so Fathers Day will not be totally ruined. I could go on and on about the Burleson HD but I will not. The 1 STAR should say enough.

I was in the market for replacing old carpet and wanting it installed as quickly as possible due to move in dates. I called around and Home Depot promised the quickest and easiest installation. (3 weeks including ordering carpet and install) Having experience with Home Depot, I figured it was a safe bet. It is now 8 weeks since I first ordered the carpet, and still no carpet. I have actually been without any carpet at all for over 3 weeks. Home Depot contracts Cooper Installation Services for carpet install, and they have been nothing less than incompetent and unprofessional. I have never written a Yelp review before and I am an extremely rational and patient person, but this situation has sent me spiraling in the worst way. I have had install scheduled 5 times now, and the installers have either allowed the carpet to get soaking wet in the rain forcing me to have to reorder the carpet, or not showed up at all on the install date. The fact that Home Depot still contracts this unreliable, unprofessional, incompetent company tells me they are very corporate and do not care at all about the perception of their brand. I was a previous advocate for Home Depot but will never be shopping for any home improvement services here EVER again.

The rental department here will absolutely take advantage of you. Stay far away. In a 2 day rental they added on huge charges for retuning it 2 hours past the return deadline, I thought two days was two days, not 2 hours late equals $130 extra.

I wish they would enforce the state mandate that people must were masks in the store. I saw several people with no mask and several employees with them under there nose.

LOVE. THIS. PLACE. I will go here the rest of my life. Service is always good and I almost always find what I'm looking for. I was needing loading help and a really nice young man helped me. Very polite. Lowe's sucks.

Don't go with Home Depot for anything. I gave them 2 chances. 1 was for granite countertops in my kitchen. All said and done they screwed that up and tried to charge me a extra $1000. I went with another company (great job) and they did the job for what the measurement called for and stated that the Home Depot service provider was trying to gouge me for the extra $1000 dollars. When I took this to Home Depot before going with this company that confirmed my suspicions of the money gouging Home Depot did nothing about it. Fast forward to today. I set an appointment for my backsplash quote today (Memorial Day) stayed home from seeing my daughter in Austin for the holiday, to get a text message from Home Depot service provider stating that they do not do backsplash only. I had a in-depth conversation with the Home Depot rep who set this up and also with the conversation call 2 days prior to my appointment. Both were very clear that it was backsplash only. So here I set on my holiday doing nothing because once again Home Depot has failed so beware the convenience of their service is not worth it. Do as I am and go to a local company that takes pride in their service, reputation and work.

Let me start with this: I love this Home Depot! I remodeled an entire house, top-to-bottom, and purchased 100% of the materials here. I added a 500 sq ft patio to my new house and bought most of the materials here. For every project, large or small, I only shop here. Why didn't I give them five stars? Chania, the cashier in Garden, was unspeakably rude yesterday. Please don't fire the young lady. But, please give her a long lesson in manners. "Hello" and "Thank you" might be a good place to start.

We purchased $600 in new Ryobi lawn equipment yesterday and 2 out of the 3 items we purchased were immediately defective. We took the mower back yesterday because it wouldn't start after assembly... taking the time we were going to spend working on our yard to do so. The customer service employee did not apologize for the inconvenience. We exchanged it for another one. We attempted to work on the yard again today and, less than 15 minutes in, the trimmer/edger swivel head would not function. So, yet again, we had to forgo working on our yard to take the equipment back to the store. At this point, we were justifiably frustrated. We were met by a different customer service employee this time. I asked how their quality control operated and she said, "I'd talk to Ryobi. Then she said, in a snide manner, "I do use Ryobi myself." I said, "So you don't stand behind the products you sell?" She said, "Um, no." It was as if it was our fault for choosing to buy a product from them that doesn't function from the moment we took it out of the box. No apology and no attempt to make us feel better about shopping at her place of employment. She wanted to have someone try to fix it. I told her we just wanted our money back. So I guess Home Depot doesn't have any sort of quality control for the products they sell to their customers and, according to their own customer service personnel, they don't stand behind the products they sell. We have owned several businesses, both service and retail. I cannot imagine selling anything that we were not prepared to endorse and I cannot imagine an employee of ours telling a customer that they think one of the products we sell isn't quality. I also cannot imagine openly stating that we do not stand behind the goods or services we charge our customers for or treating a customer as if it didn't really matter if they continued to be a customer of ours or not. Everything is from the top down so I don't see any reason for contacting a store manager. They have obviously created an environment of apathy and trained their employees poorly.

HORRIBLE! Worst experience ever! Have been waiting 3 weeks for a delivery. Received a call last night that it would be delivered and now today they've lost it. Will be getting a refund and going elsewhere. They have terrible customer service, they can't give a straight answer. $2000 appliance and they've lost it. Ridiculous!

This store needs to work on their customer service. It would be nice for their manager to take the few extra steps in helping a customer, especially since I have an in store charge card. And the young man, Chris, at the register could try to find the answer to my question instead of responding “I dont know, that's another departmentâ€. Rachel is basically a zombie in an orange apron. The only employee we interacted with who was nice and helpful was Esperanza. You all could take notes from her. Thank you for your help!

I'm doing a home project and I decided to use Home Depot instead of lowe's this time. I have to drive past the lowe's to get to this H D. I went to H D this morning to return something I bought last week and that kart went just fine. When I went to get the correct item the aisle was closed. I know at times this is necessary. I ask when it would be open an emp. Said he would check. He didn't come back. I waited some time and finally gave up and went to lowe's and got my joint compound. I think I'll just stick with Lowe's. I also checked their siding and it was $4.00 a sheet less than H D and using my lowe's credit I get an extra 10% off of some purchases.
