For the most part I'm exceptionally pleased. Customer service, whether in person or byphone have always been extremely helpful and courteous. After my last husband's death I did have issues trying to cash checks made out to "The Estate of......." and was told I needed to have his will probated, which I did, more for other reasons than a couple of checks. Unfortunately I wasn't told I also needed an estate account which I wasn't going to do. Instead I went to the check issuers and had the checks replaced, which was no small feat with Blue Cross Blue Shield! I have to say, I miss Community Bank, where we knew each other by name and could get immediate loans, etc. when necessary. But, that's what comes with growth and growth is good, right?

Hit or miss, times of day, or employees I don't know, sometimes just having a bad day? Seems to happen often.

If you want a bank that doesn't want to help you even if you have almost $200,000 on deposit with them, this is your place. Huge building with 3 people that work there that have no authority and aren't really interested in helping or working. Two recent experiences with them that were less than acceptable, so I'm moving elsewhere after 30 years with them.....

Don't use this bank. Only still use them because my stuff goes through them. Keep switching who owns bank. Cut back opened hours. Have had multiple issues past couple months with them from computer issues, have low amount of cash on hand, and coin machine not working.

What kind of bank disables your card because you're not allowed more than six transactions in a day? The "fraud" dept. here is more like a fraud itself with their desperation to incessantly disable cards.

Today I had a few issues at the bank. It did not go as planned. Once the issue was reviewed, I personally received a call from the bank to discuss the matter and all was taken care of.Thank you Christie for taking care of me!

I had some issues recently with the local branch but the area manager fixed everything. She took very good care of me and did so quickly. I am very thankful to her for everything she did.

Been at this same location for about 35 years, each time they change hands it get worse. Now as independent bank, it's crazy.. I have multiple accounts, one to just pay bills with that is linked to another account where I keep extra money, today I find out the one I pay bills with was missing from my online account, after research I find they "closed" the account because it hit zero dollars, to bad they did not see I had direct deposit into this account, to bad they did not see I had another account linked to this one where they could sweep money if needed, to bad they did not account for the fact I deposited 2k Into the account the next day after it went to $0. Now keep in mind, I did not go negative, just went to $0. To bad they did not notify me in any way. Talk to banker who told me this seems to be independent bank policy because other people were having the same issue. I've left message for VP of operations to call me, we will see.

I was with this bank before North Star bought them, and since the purchase the customer service has been lacking. It took two months for my Grand Mother to get her new debit card after an identity theft incident, and recently someone stole my identity too. In 5 days I will have been waiting a month for my new card. I emailed the main branch earlier this week and received no reply... Finally today I called, again, and asked what was going on. I was informed that the card was ordered and as far as they could tell there was no bank error, okay. I still need my card though and a month is entirely too long to wait so I asked that they rush a card to my branch, and they said no... So I'm closing my account today.
