We are so, so disappointed. Our daughter was extremely excited to learn the cello, however at her first lesson, the instructor suggested that we have her learn the piano first. He said he was sure the store would work with us in returning the cello and getting a refund. He was the sweetest guy, but just not the best fit for our 7 year old girl, so we were in agreement to try something else. The front desk guy took our cello back when we returned it, and assured us that there shouldn't be a problem getting refunded, "especially since we only had it for a week". He said he had to get approval from his manager, but that he was SURE it wouldn't be a problem. Here we are... 2 months later, and still no refund. My husband has been frequently calling, and they keep saying they'll get back to us. Today, he finally got ahold of a manager, who told us "There's literally nothing I can do about giving you a refund. We don't do refunds." That would have been GREAT to know at the time we returned the cello. We would not have given up 3 weeks of rental/lessons that we paid for upfront! That's insane. Such a waste. Beware.

Stopped in a couple weeks ago to get a violin and guitar repaired. Max the young gentleman that assisted me was very kind and helpful even though he was newer on the job. As such he was unsure if he was quoting me correctly on the work to be done and mentioned the manager would be back in to double check and verify the info. Not a problem as I wanted to look around to see what goodies I could find for my kids (Drum set, sax, acoustic guitar). There was plenty of space to move around, store was clean and nicely organized, lots of little extra accessories most of us don't think about. There was plenty of parking out front with easy access to main roads. When the manager showed up he took a look at the violin and mentioned it would be between $75-$100 for the violin repairs depending on parts and time put in. As for the guitar he mentioned it probably wouldn't be worth fixing as the neck was too far out to play properly even after fixing it. So I bought a simple inexpensive Squire guitar/amp combo to replace it and sent the violin in to be addressed. Got the call to pick up the violin and it looked and sounded great when my daughter picked at it and gave it a couple quick passes with the bow. This is a nice little store that we might visit again. My biggest and really only issue I had was the manager kept mentioning how Guitar Center did or didn't do things or the pricing vs his store. To be completely honest I don't care about your competitors pricing, what they can or can't do or even how long you worked there; especially if I'm already in your store with my instruments in hand. I come from 13+ years of commissioned retail sales and I'd never bring up my competition to talk them down at the same time boasting how I'm a former employee. It's a bit rude and unprofessional. Might be back, might not be back to pick up other instruments we saw here. Only time will tell.

Bought my son’s clarinet in July. Great quality, affordable and several options to choose from. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. No aggressive sales tactics or pressure to buy. Also, had the reeds in stock.

Don't even try taking piano lessons here! I stopped in and signed up for lessons. They had an opening the following week for Tuesday which was perfect. Tuesday comes and I wait around until 7:30pm in Burleson only to find out that the instructor already left for the day!! The woman that worked there was very apologetic and said I could start the following week. Well... it's now Tuesday again and I just received a call that the instructor can't make it! As I'm literally writing this they just called back saying he's now available. This place is a joke. Don't waste your time.

This is for the online ordering, not any one store. Ordered a ukulele which was supposed to be at the store in 5-7 business days for pick up. 2 weeks later it still hadn’t shipped, so we called to ask and the vendor still hadn’t shipped it. Ok, that’s fine but you could have let us know. Called again a day or two later to just cancel. So they cancel and there’s zero emails sent, no confirmation of cancellation. The guy just said “100% it’s canceled” when we asked about it. Problem over, right? Nope. 2 weeks later there was a pending charge on our account for the ukulele that had supposedly been cancelled. Called again and they said once again it was the vendor that needed to finalize the cancelation. Perhaps they should work with different vendors because it reflects poorly on their business. I’m sure I will visit the store from time to time but I will never trust their website again.

I had called in about a mute for a Viola. They had two different types. The store held one of each for me to pick up a couple days later. The person behind the counter was very pleasant, polite, and knowledgeable when I asked about other instruments.

Friendly and knowledgeable people working there. You can rent or buy music instruments from the place. Customer service is outstanding I would say. My son rented a clarinet for his music class. Unfortunately the whole thing was halted due to the covid-19 debacle. The rep. that we contacted on the phone was very understanding of the situation and helped us solved the problem.

They have a pretty nice selection of gear there. Real nice guitars. They have effect pedals there as well. They have a good guitar string selection. They have many different instruments and they offer music lessons. Very nice employees.

Had a most wonderful experience at this new music store! So glad that finally one was put close to home, rather than driving far out. Amazing deals as well going on as store is still new. Staff has wonderful customer service, even showed us around the place and explained every product, and benefits. Will be coming back, maybe even once a week! :)
