It was an amazing place but they did not serve lunch till after 2 pm . We ride motorcycles to different locations usually to eat after hitting some backroads first! Only complaint is they should serve food earlier!

These are so neat, love the art in how they did the lil "city". Clean and comfy. Staff was great and the communication was excellent. It's wonderful to walk over to the Templeton Tavern, to eat/drink/listen to music with more friendly staff. I highly recommend staying here, we can't wait to come back.

The location in relation to the lake is really nice. We rented a RV. The RV was spacious. The bed is very short. If you are 6' or more, you will hang off of it. The fold out bed was small too. Our 10 year old was too big for it. The wifi doesn't work. It gets the signal but it's too week. So night time was rough. Especially with no fire or anything. The pizza shop at the park was awesome!.....when they had pizza 2 out of the three nights they were out of pizza by 6pm. And all they do is pizza....... there were also a pile of pallets with nails out back behind the RV. Also there are no knives for cooking. So if you plan on meal prepping bring a knife.

Stayed here for a work event with two other. There was plenty of room. We kept the ac on cuz it got very hot. Tvs and entertainment inside. Pizza and drinks in walking distance. The nearest town is about 30 minutes away so you can buy supplies there.Good trip. Would book again.

We had a great time! We were there Thursday and Friday night just for kicks as a girls night getaway. Honestly, we thought we'd get out more but had such a good time at the cantina, Templeton's Tavern, with live music Friday night, that the only other thing we did was go into town for tacos! It was pretty quiet for having a Tavern so close and we could see the lake from the rooftop deck, a nice touch! We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. The kitchen was well stocked and clean, as was the rest of the place. Would totally do it again. (I'd add photos but I never even got my phone out. I can say that the website and Facebook photos didn't lie!) Bonus: there was a Super Nintendo in the living area. We absolutely played it. It'd been years for all of us, so that was fun :)Rooms: You'll melt into the pillows and the beds are super comfy!Nearby activities: Hiking and biking at Spider Mountain and Reveille Peak Ranch, on-site cantina, river cruise and Canyon of the Eagles on same road, nearby shopping, wineries, distilleries, breweries, Texas State Parks, fishing and watersports, tons of places to eat, live musicFood & drinks: On-site container cantina with yummy drinks and wood-fired pizza open Thursday through Sunday

This has been one of our best lodging experiences. The cabin was clean, modern and well equipped. The patio at the top of the container had amazing views of the lake with a beautiful sunset. The bar had a great selection of beers and drinks at fair prices. They had two food options: oven pizzas (we didn't try them but they looked tasty) and BBQ (delicious!). The staff was nice and everyone in general was very friendly and social. They had live music on Friday and Saturday that we really enjoyed. We are definitively staying again at Container City in our next visit to Spider Mountain and Reveille Peak!

Sleeping in containers is a new experience. Because they are metal, insulation from the heat is nil, the a/c runs almost constantly. They are very well furnished and finished, I just think they need to do a regular inspection of them as there were a few things wrong in each container.

If you plan on staying in the Burnet area, I highly recommend Container City. I took my travel trailer there to do some mountain biking but they also have a bunch of really cool container houses (hence the name). Aside from it being in a great location, Templeton's Tavern made lit three times as cool. Many RV parks are just places to stay. This was an experience. I don't usually like staying at a place more than once but I'm sure I'll be back there a few times.
