Stephanie was an excellent communicator and was able to make a mortgage happen that we were otherwise going to pull out of the deal. We were very pleased with the service and the efficiency. Would highly recommend!

Took over 7 months to close an account. I'm sure the "Pandemic" played some part but one lame excuse after another about "their" problems... To say poor customer service would be a huge understatement

Promised to consolidate 2 notes, Sallye Long forgot to do do so, then said she didnt have time to mess with us. Family had banked with First State since 1962, checking loans etc and had never lost a penny . We closed all accounts to American Bank of Texas and got the respect we deserved

Tellers are friendly and so are the girls at the desks, whenever you have a typical every day interaction. Ask them anything out of the ordinary and it's a-whole-nother story! They start speaking over you and not letting you get a word in at all or when they do it's like they talk to you like you suffer from D.S. or something. Every time I try calling at 9 when their website says they open NO ONE EVER ANSWERS! I can never reach anyone until 930! That's 30 whole minutes. Ive tried mentioning some of these concerns with three separate employees and they didn't seem concerned.Very unprofessional when it's all said and done.
