I can't say enough about this auto shop. They are good people who are honest, fast, reliable, and affordable. I don't think I can move away from Burnet because I'd never find another shop this good.

My ‘09 highlander has about 170,000 miles. It was developing a bad vibration related to RPM only. I know enough to guess a CV axle issue, but I wanted to see what else may be needed as I want this car to last many more miles.
Dropped off at Loftis and I liked the thoroughness/effort of the techs during the diagnosis. AS WELL as the thorough explanation of their findings over the phone.
I got the below work done, my highlander is running so much smoother and I know I’ll be back for other major repairs.
-Left CV axle
-Left front motor mount
-Front brake pads
-Sway bar links both sides
-Spark plugs (intake manifold has to come off on my model, not a fun DIY)

I just had another great experience at Loftis Auto Service & Repair and wanted to leave a Google review, so here it is.
We have used Loftis several times over the years, referred by my mom, and the experience has always been very good. But, I am skeptical about auto mechanics and dealer service, so I had to be sure before reviewing!
I recently had my oil changed at my dealer on my Raptor, they have a really good deal on the oil change to keep me coming in to find service work. I let the dealer do some of the work when it seems reasonable, but they just called out what seemed a lot unreasonable for rear brake work and I brought it to Raschell of Loftis for their analysis.
They agreed on part of the work on the rear as necessary, but recommended additional brake pads on the front, at a much more reasonable cost for the entire job. Jason, the mechanic on my truck actually called me after completion to explain the nuance of his findings. Wow. What a nice guy. And Raschell, who owns and manages the shop could not be sweeter and more knowledgeable.
So, there it is, I feel extremely comfortable referring Loftis.

Since moving to Burnet County we're so fortunate to have found Loftis Automotive. They've done several jobs for us on my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. All with fair pricing, informative and timely communication. As a matter-of-fact, I'll be making a reservation today for work on the ABS.

We have worked with this shop for many years, more than 10 years. Their service and work is consistently great. We have never had to have anything redone after they have worked on it. Fixed perfectly the first time. We appreciate them so much. They get us in and keep us updated on when the vehicles will be ready. I've always felt that what we pay is a fair price for the work at hand.

We took our Chevrolet 3500 Express van to Loftis last week. They were very friendly and prompt in keeping our appointment and working on our camper van. They had a good solid lift with a high ceiling so we felt confident that they took good care of our vehicle. The work they performed was exceptional and reasonably priced; we will definitely be returning to Loftis for any of our Auto Repair needs!
