The quality of food is very good. The chicken fried stake is excellent. The only thing about this place is that it is a lot like a lot if small diners with mostly fried foods.Parking: Lots of parking. A weird parking lot set up.Kid-friendliness: A lot of kud friendly foodWheelchair accessibility: Has parking and mostly flat surfaces from parking lot to the table

Your best place for home cooking. Had a chance to meet up with family and chose Mama's at the halfway point. Everyone enjoyed the meal. The cheese cake topped it off really well. I was too busy to take photos, and the food was gone too

Nicely fresh and tasty Baby Cobb Salad and the other three in our group said the catfish meal and sides were excellent. Our young waitress was perky, friendly and always there! We'll be back!

My wife and I live in Austin. We stopped by on our way home from a long cave tour at nearby Longhorn Caverns State Park. It was almost closing on a Sunday night. We were greeted by a very nice lady who obliged us by seating us in a booth next to the front window. The atmosphere was very warm and down home. We had immediate service from another friendly person. We had lots of questions about food recommendations. We weren’t disappointed with the suggestions. We tried the fried pickles as an appetizer, strip steak, burger and peach cobbler. All delicious. The sides (okra & cabbage) were equally wonderful. Compared to the abundance of overpriced/under delivered restaurants in Austin, it was refreshing to step back in time again and enjoy good food and good service at a fair price. We loved the beauty of the surrounding area so I imagine we will be back on another weekend getaway. And when we do, we’ll make sure to stop by Mama’s on the way home…

Decided to stop here based on good Google reviews. Jackie was a great server, and the food was delicious. Desserts were great. I couldn't decide between Whiskey Pecan Pie and Blackberry Cobbler, so I ate the Whiskey Pecan for dessert and took a blackberry cobbler home for breakfast. I do not regret it, either.

As the name states, down home made from scratch comfort food. Always great.

Super sad. It was a great place at one time. Simply checking the food quality going out might help. But at this point I am not sure. I got the Party Melt to go. Got home it was a super burnt grease saturated bread so nasty and onions so over cooked they were crispy. The meat was undercooked. It was inedible. Straight to the trash after a bite it went.

Got take out, bad mistake. Chicken fried steak was stale and tough I didn't attempt to eat such a horrible sight. Decided to try again, just to be disappointed. Beef tips with noodles and a cabbage side. Service was good, couldn't cut the tips with the knife, very tough. Noodles and gravy were good. Cabbage was chewy. Will not try a third time.

I had one of the best blackened po' boy sandwiches there. Service is sometimes slow depending on number of people dining. Definately worth a try. Prices reasonable as well.
