On a Tuesday promised to fill tank on Friday. Also said they would give me a 30 minute notice to meet them for propane delivery. They did neither and left me without heat during a cold snap. 3 hours missed work, $200 of electric heaters, and an electric skillet later they wanna come sometime next week and they can’t say when so I need to take a day off work to get propane. Leander has some choices for propane and I would choose any of them hands down. Do not choose this company. I strongly DO NOT recommend. They will promise a lot and deliver nothing but empty promises. There’s a bit more to the story as I ran out the propane and it was assumed that bc the stove and dryer were propane that I would know the heat was too….uh no. All electric is all
I’ve known. My bad and a lesson learned the hard way BUT my time is a valuable and I don’t take lies lightly.

We have been using Star Tex Propane for 32 years and haven't had to call for a fill up as they just pop in when they know we need propane. Great people work there too.

I love Star Propane. I’ve used them for years for tank refills for grill. However I got to see how good they are when I had hired a different company to install a new propane tank on a property. There was a leak and you could smell it but the other company couldn’t find the leak. Could even see the fumes coming off the tank but they said was off gassing. After the tank quickly lost so much propane in a short period, Star was called out. They found the leak right at the tank and fixed it. I will always use them for install, service and refills from now on.

Most employees were good- James especially. Placed my order Friday, was quoted a price. Was told the delivery date was the next Tuesday. When propane was delivered the price had gone up, per Star propane, and I was charged the new price. To me- this is just not right. I believe I entered a " verbal agreement" on the day I ordered the fuel. And Star propane should have honored their price. Star propane knows that they have customers over a barrel in many ways. It was just a few bucks but a fixed income is just that- fixed. We have not recovered from our sky high electric bills from the really hard summer yet.
