About YMCA of the Highland Lakes
YMCA of the Highland Lakes offers a great aquatic area and weight room, appreciated by many visitors. However, organized sports programs have faced issues, such as a lack of coaches for basketball, leading to clinics instead of a full season. While swimming and pickleball are enjoyed by members, communication between management and staff is poor, causing confusion about events and program availability. Employees are friendly and hardworking, but they often lack updates. Suggestions for improvement include enhancing event communication and considering a bathing suit wringer for the bathrooms.

Great facility! All the classes are fun and Brooke is a wonderful instructor for those new to learning how to get your body in shape.

There is a playground near the baseball field behind the YMCA building. It has a great shade structure and there is a rock wall for kids to climb on.
