Best place in the world for the handicapped community. I think it really gives them a sense of self worth and belonging.

Love What The Camp Stands For one of the best Jobs My Son has Had In his Life. The Camp Ground is full of great Learning experience any family can bring there children's too as well as Schools, Churches, Family Groups. Kids Of all ages and Disabilities as well. The Camp makes you feel like part of there families. They welcome you with open arms and makes you and your loved ones feel like your Home, as for me makes you feel like you never want to leave. ???

A really fabulously lovely recreation retreat for groups that come together to play once a year in the boonies of central TX. There’s quite a long waiting list for groups because it it has been a coveted place to stay for 28 years. I joined a group as a nurse managing Med administration and first aid situations for 80 adult campers with intellectual disabilities and 40 staff and counselors. The CFA website shows fabulous photos, better than my own, so check it out. Everything and everywhere is handicap friendly on the grounds. Archery, boating, pool and water activities, Zip line, arts and crafts, rock climbing, dancing, basketball - who could ask for more??Food was tasty, but lots of salt. Vegetables were provided including a nice healthy salad bar. July was extremely hot and dry in 2022, so campers were really coached to drink lots of fluids as they went from fun event to fun event. As a result, we only had a few campers suffering heat related health issues. Some room for improvement might be to add more opportunities for campers to be in shade while swimming, at certain activities like being in the amphitheater. Loud speakers in several cabins were faulty, causing horribly loud announcements that truly hurt ears. The water pressure was intermittently unreliable and sewage smells in the main building and a few cabins resulted from slow drains.Overall, the CFA staff and volunteers were phenomenal getting 5 out of 5. Kitchen staff was fabulous, kind, patient and extremely clean = 5 out of 5. The 4 out of 5 rating reflected excessively salty food, faulty loud speakers in some cabins, water pressure and lack of adequate shade for many activities, however, in a summer that has been the hottest on record, some of these observations are not in anyone’s control. I’d be honored to return again and am telling everyone about how terrific the experience has been.

This is an amazing opportunity for families who have children with disabilities to have normalcy. The love acceptance and support here is abundant. We are thankful for all of the hard work this organization and volunteers put in to make this happen.

I spent a few days volunteering here to see what the camp was like. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. Beth was so kind, showed me around, and always made sure I was taken care of. The staff is amazing and treats everyone with the utmost respect and the campers love them. I could go on and on.Camp for All truly is a wonderful place!

Wonderful place, awesome staff, lots of fun! I attended with a school. We rode horses, pet farmyard animals, climbed rock walls, rode zip line, canoes, swimming, and a campfire with smores! And that was just the first day!
