About Possum Kingdom State Park Lakeview Campground
Possum Kingdom State Park Lakeview Campground is a beautiful park with some of the best camp sites, many right on the lake with excellent and gorgeous views. The sites are really nice and big enough for everything needed, though some have a steep incline and are set up backwards for picnic tables. The park offers a large water area for tubing, swimming, fishing, and boat, kayak, and paddle board rental. Clean bathrooms and showers are always maintained, and a small store has lots of essentials, good food, and on-the-go stuff. The park is dog friendly, with friendly people and amazing sunsets. Shade is limited, so planning ahead for heat is advised. It is free in the off-season.
Looked like a good place to stay. We were just driving thru.

This is a small but beautiful park and campground, very well maintained and clean. Large campsites, picnic area on the lake and a very nice boat ramp.

Well kept campground. Had no shade for RV but did have a covered picnic table. Stayed in Spanish Oaks with W/E. Will try Shady Grove with W/E next time. Nice lake with swimming area and boat slips available. Grill food, clothes and some supplies available at camp store.
