Alexander's Grocery & Deli is a local hotspot and treasure in Canadian, far more than just a convenience store. A local family owns and runs this generous and kind establishment. It is a perfect stop for breakfast, lunch, or something to eat on the go, with great home cooked meals. The breakfast offerings like biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, and sausage egg and cheese biscuits are where it really shines. Lunch features a rotating menu of daily specials, including legendary meatloaf. The hot deli also provides great sandwiches, wraps, subs, salads, and pizzas. Many know the place for its full catering, often used for local school events. The fountain drinks are considered the best in the panhandle, with particular praise for the Cokes, iced tea, and world famous Dr. Peppers. The drive-thru and inside service are always great, and it has clean restrooms for travelers. It is a place where locals gather, making it the best place in Canadian to eat.

This place is a treasure of Canadian. Food is always great, you can find out anything you want about the town and it's denizens by asking anybody behind the counter or just hanging around. The daily specials rotate but if you're really lucky, they will have meatloaf
