I opened a checking account here when we moved to Canton about 5 years ago, and it was a good decision. I had looked into the other banking options in Canton, but the convenience, hours of operation, and checking account features hereput Woodforest at the top of the list. I continue to be very happy with the bank and the employees.

The worst bank I’ve ever used I went to cash a check which I’ve done many times and then I try to cash a check this morning and they say I can’t take any money out I have to wait a whole day before I can access I wish I never opened an account with them

I have banked here for quite some time and the relationships forged with this bank and the way they go above and beyond for their clients is what really matters. Taryn, Stacey and Stephanie in particular work so hard to put the customer first. Thanks for all you do!!

While acting as my dying son"s POA, I withdrew all but $500 of his savings account and deposited it in his checking at another bank in Tyler, TX. I was going to transfer all of his funds but unfortunately, I let the teller talk me into leaving some in the account. My son died on Dec 23, 2021 and his eldest son was executor of the estate. Low and behold, when he went to Woodforest Bank in Canton to withdraw the remaining balance he was denied, even though he had a copy of his dad's Will and the death certificate. They told him he would need other paper's from the court in order to gain access. He resides near Dallas and decided the $500 wasn't enough to warrant him spending gas money, time and legal fees. I should have never listened to the teller when I made the initial withdrawal of funds. Not certain what will happen to the funds but Woodforest has the $500 using it to make money and the kids have his memory. In my 80 years on this Earth, I've dealt with multiple banks and handled three estate closing and have never encountered a problem withdrawing funds as the executor.

Over all best experiences at this location better than any other. Dallas locations need over hauling via fire all their employees " at Dallas locations!"

I had a horrible experience here. The bank teller was untruthful in the information provided to me about my stimulus check. She told me j would receive my check, as I had twice before, in my closed account and I would be able to retrieve the money no Matter what and there was NO NEED in reopening the account. I even asked if I could or should just reopened to account just to be certain that I receive this money because I am in a financial crisis, and I don't have groceries in my home due to me being laid off, and most importantly my husband has some serious legal issues that required a specific amount of money to be paid by Monday in order to stay out of jail, and I have a child who needs some things that I expected to be able to provide to him because this need is urgent and super important. This teller did not have the correct info, she had an attitude a and acted as if my question was bothering her, and she was nonchalant and careless concerning my situation even as I detailedout my situation, my need and the impact that this has. I am disgusted and my entire life is going to be dramatically affected by this error
