The grass in the Fairways are at least 12 inches. Bring practice balls as you will lose every shot.

Simply put: this course is unplayable. The fairways are overgrown with rough, you’ll spend more time looking for your ball than hitting. The greens are dirt and clover grass, we were having to chip on them! Trash cans are overflowing, tee boxes and bunkers are weed fields. It’s pretty much an abandoned course. The saddest part is how scenic and beautiful it could be! Zach at the pro shop is really sweet and helpful. I wish this weren’t the case because there is so much potential at this location. :(

To the Owner and Maintenance crew: I recommend that you completely improve and maintain one single hole, either #1 or #18 to prove and demonstrate you are willing and able to. IF SUCCESSFUL, then I would recommend the owners goal to be improving an adjacent hole at a time, and create a Respectable and Admired 9 hole course. Every player would prefer a 9 quality hole course to the 18 hole course as it has been for years

Easily the worst golf course I’ve ever golfed. Greens are non existent. Fairway is way overgrown, and the customer service was terrible. Highly recommend you find a different course to play. This place will irritate you more than you will enjoy it. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This golf experience was definitely the worst, due to the condition of the golf course. Looks like the hole/pin locations have not been changed in months. The greens, fairways and roughs are not getting cut. This place is not worth the price. The course layout is great, but of no value due to the lack of maintenance.

The Driving range is a dirt field....literally. The Fairways are as hard as concrete with grass that looks like it would grow better in West Texas. The Greens are unplayable. The clubhouse is unsightly. The price is unjustifiable. The course is unplayable.Do better.

This place has a lot of potential, great scenery and a lot of wildlife. You can tell the drought really did a number on this course. Course just needs time TLC. The staff was amazing and super friendly. If you're just an amateur golfer like myself and looking to have a good time I would check this place out.

In Canyon Lake for a wedding this weekend and decided to catch a round. This was the most affordable and available option and we found out why. The young man at the pro shop was great. He had awesome customer service and seeing the deer all morning was awesome. That is it. Don't come to this course to play golf. Don't waste your time. Grab a golf cart, ask for a discount and bring your camera for the deer on the front nine. That might make it worth it. That is what we should have done. No grass on the tee box or greens. Fairways were a mix of mud, weeds, clovers and a little grass here or there. The greens were a game of plinko. Also hole 16 was closed for "maintenance". It looked the same shape as the rest of the course so might as well leave it open. Officially worst course I have played. Close it and let the deer run wild.

Course is in absolute disrepair. I don’t think there is much that can be done to fix the damage done to this property from neglect. There doesn’t appear to be any irrigation on the course. The greens and fairways are dirt and sand. The cart paths are cracked and worn down. The trees are so overgrown it takes a PGA pro to shoot past them. It’s a shame because this would be a wonderful golf club if the property was just a little better taken care of. The bar room is very nice and the event/center looks great. The staff very friendly but they were also complete gone, with the buildings locked up, when I returned to bring my cart back. Would not recommend anyone plays this course until owner(s) put money and time into this course

The golf course has potential, but right now the course is in very rough conditions. I tried to play but quit after two holes because I didn't want to mess up my clubs. Definitely not worth 45 dollars, maybe 10 dollars.

This was the worst course I have been to! The greens are so sad. Do not waste your money! I know it has not rained in a while but this was just sad. Sand traps had grass all in them. Greens had all types of weeds on them. Good luck making a putt. Golf carts sucked with two people riding in them. Do not expect anything great from this course. One hole had a sign as a flag marker. I should have read the reviews before booking this place.Fully recommend Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs as we went that afternoon and the following day it was great 100% better!
