I deposited money Saturday at 10am, it’s not showing up in my account. Call the number to reach someone at canyon branch. Can’t get through to anyone. To find out where my money is. I’ll be leaving this scam of a bank

Banked with Happy State for 13 years and had no problems at all. After the merger with Centennial it all went downhill fast. If you call the number listed for any of the branches it directs to Centennial's customer service line. Which is downright terrible. I had an auto loan with Happy and after the merger decided to pay it off early. Went into the Grand Street location and paid off the note in June. Was told the title would be sent to me in 3-4 weeks. Two months later and no title, call the number listed and I get Centennial. I ask where my title is at in the process. After being transferred around I get someone on the line. They tell me to go to my local DMV and get my title. I respond that the bank holds the title until payoff. Whether it be an Etitle or paper they have to release the lien and send me, the owner, the title. We argue back and forth until I get frustrated and hang up. I go into the Canyon branch in August and talk with a gentleman there, he is helpful and genuinely concerned. What he tells me is that Happy hasn't ordered the title.... He assures me he will send out the request and it will be here 3-4 weeks at most. The end of September comes around and still no title. So I go back into the Canyon branch, because calling is useless, and visit the same gentlemen. He tells me that they have still not done anything about my title. All these requests now flow back up to Centennial in some form. I could not accept any more delays so I ask him to verify if the lien has been released at a minimum. It has, so I fill out a lost title form, make an appointment at the regional DMV, pay my $5, and go get my certified copy of my title. Unbelievable... I truly feel sorry for the folks that work at Happy because they do truly care and want to help, but are hamstringed by a large corporate bank that does not care. Bottom line, don't bank at Happy. Choose a truly \\\"local\\\" bank. I will be taking my business to ANB or FBSW.

Calling the bank for a simple question is a nightmare. Can't get anyone locally. On hold forever. Ask for call back and gives a whole different area code. Frustrating! Response was very good and appreciated.

When Happy State merged with this other bank, I had my accounts cut off. I could need check my balances. I have tried for days to set up my online account mobile with no luck. I keep calling and no one answers the phone. I hope Happy State Bank does not turn into Bank of America with this merger.
