The Hudspeth Bed and Breakfast was a wonderful place to stay. I only stayed one night, but I wished I had stay more days. The B&B was immaculately clean, very nice decorated with antique furniture. The host, Bernadette, was a very friendly, nice person. We were woken up to the smell of a delicious breakfast. I would definitely stay at the Hudspeth again. The location is quiet, and has good restaurants in the area. Thank you Bernadette for the wonderful breakfast. We really enjoyed staying at your B&B!!

We had a great time staying in the Georgia O'Keefe room! Bernadette and Lindon were very kind and responsive. Even let us borrow their hiking sticks when we went out to Palo Duro Canyon. Just a short walk to the super cute Canyon square that has restaurants and cute boutiques and a cool book store. We had fresh breakfast that was sooo tasty in the morning and even got a house tour to learn all of the fun quirks the historic home had. We will definitely be staying again next time we are in town!

I booked my stay during an out of state move and it was the best idea I’ve had in years! The Hudspeth Inn is everything you could dream a BNB would be and then some. I made some new friends, was served the most delicious food, and rested in the most cozy environment. If you’re passing through the area, I wouldn’t bother staying anywhere else but here!

Always a pleasure to stay here and visit with the owner (Bernadette). It is a home base for us, because she made it so!

My entire visit to Canyon TX was to visit this B&B. This place has so much history and it far exceeded my expectations. I stayed in the Georgia O’Keeffe room which displayed her artwork. The king sized bed with the high end linens were much appreciated.Bernadette knows so much about the home’s history. Her breakfasts were above expectations. Entered this home as a stranger and left as a friend.

A group of friends rented out all of the rooms while in town for a hike at the state park. Bernadette was so welcoming and accommodating to our group. The rooms were lovely! Clean, adorable and suited our needs perfectly. Breakfast was amazing and the coffee was really good! Short walk to the square and 15 min drive to the canyon. We were all so surprised at how quiet the rooms were too. The wraparound porch was inviting and we enjoyed the cool mornings and evenings out there. Highly recommend!

Great and convenient place to stay for a downtown canyon event! Cozy Bluebonnet room had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable. En suite was very small as advertised but, again, all I needed. I was concerned the house would be noisy, but I didn’t hear anyone else while in my room. Hosts were lovely and provided a wonderful gluten free pastry for me.

Stayed for two nights to hike the canyon. Our room was very comfortable, and the house is well maintained. Run by a nice couple who make an excellent breakfast, with fresh-baked pastries and a different menu each morning. Check-out is a breeze: You're billed the day of and leave your key in the bedroom door. Nothing to it. The rates are a steal for the quality of service and amenities. Highly recommended.

This place was great. Very cozy and the breakfasts are so delicious. Fruit and yogurt parfaits. Green chili quiche or great bacon and egg with cheese sandwiches. Everything was delicious. Thank you for a great weekend.
