Thank y’all so much for putting the battery in my son’s truck. Even though he bought it somewhere else, Monkey Wrench put it in for him. Took a minute on a busy Monday, but he got it back in a few short hours. He said the folks there were very kind.
11/24/25 Update: my college boys truck brakes went out and he told us over the weekend. Nothing we can do about it. I called and left a message Sunday evening and Sharon called me first thing Monday. They got the kids truck in Monday morning, he picked it up Monday afternoon. New brakes, new rotor new wheel bearing on right front tire. And my boy gets to come home safely for Thanksgiving. Sharon and Bruce are rockstars.

Disappointed already know about the Low compression in cylinder 2, to pay for something already know and that they don’t do that kind of work anymore, and know another mechanic that can do the work 🤔.

My car broke down when I was in the area for work, so it was towed to this location. Bruce was so nice as to come in on his day off to work on it for me, so I could get back home. He even came and picked me up to take me to the repair shop! Highly recommend!

These guys charge me $57 to read the codes on my vehicle and then told me that it would be $500 just to diagnose it. With no front guarantee of finding out the problem. That's like saying, "hey if you give me $500 I'll come hang out with you and look at it"

These guys are incredible. My car overheated on the road not that far from the shop and even though they were busy, Bruce still walked over and helped me get my car to their shop. He worked on it as soon as he could and got it fixed up and sent me on my way. Their customer service is incredible and I’m just grateful I had them there to help me. Anytime I’m having car troubles I will always go to Bruce, he’s courteous, quick, and answered all my questions. Taught me a few things too. I highly recommend Monkey Wrench to anyone who needs car help. Thanks guys!

My daughter goes to college at WTAMU there in Canyon. She has an older car that occasionally gives her trouble. We have had her car at Monkey Wrench for the 3rd time now. It’s the 3rd time because we have come to trust Bruce and his wife. They are not only very kind to my college age daughter who is having to take her car in herself, but also have been very quick and honest in fixing her car. It canBe stressful enough trying to help your kids from another town, but they have made it much easier for all of us. That’s why I trust them, and that’s why they will continue to have our business there in Canyon!!

This is the type of business that makes you love Canyon so much more. It seems like a mom and pop or family run business. They are always pleasant on the phone and always do a good job. I dread taking my car anywhere in Amarillo. I like that we have a quality repair shop here in Canyon. I love their service and kind attitudes. You can’t beat a small town mechanic!Services: Brakes
