If you are coming to Big Red Barn for the Round Top Antique show it is not worth it. $10 for the most mediocre part of Round Top. Booths and workers also feel very much pretentious. Round Top is 100% worth checking out but avoid this part.

Very nice place with very helpful dealers.

$10 pp to access two buildings of stuff. Even if the artifacts are genuine, I did not feel it was worth the trip let alone $10 entry fee... save your money and hit the free vendors...

Entry is $10. Only expensive antiques, there are two big tents. A lot of cool furniture but pricy. There are bathrooms and a place to eat.

Been wanting to go to a antique show for years. Finally was able to go to a small one and it did not disappoint.

Came for the roundtop intro weekend and was very impressed! Lots of cool stuff from all over the world and all over the United States. Somme of the booths have really chatty folks to get information from. Had a great time!

This was my first year going to the antique sale. It's a bummer you have to pay so much to get in, especially since the next 8 miles is free. The big red barn had a lot of neat things, but not the place to go if you're looking for a great deal. If you're someone with a lot of money or a collector this place is probably more fit for you. If you're looking to find cool stuff at a better price, go down the road.

A lot of variety of antiques, in my opinion, very high prices.

I wish I would have read the reviews before hand. I rarely give an establishment 2 stars. But this one was earned. If you're not familiar with the "famous" Round Top Antique Fair you may be under the impression like I was that a ticket is needed for the entire experience. But such is not the case. This is one of the first stops as you enter the teeny tiny town of Round Top and if you want to come into the barn and another building not far away you can buy a ticket either online or at the door. Cash or card accepted. Sadly, the ladies at the door are not the most welcoming or friendly. Despite my lack of welcome I was not going to let the sour pusses ruin my adventure. I had been waiting eight years to get here and I can't believe it took me this long! Oh, and don't forget to wear your best Aspen, Santa Fe style boho cowgirl outfit so you'll fit right in. Go down the street to the newly open Kimo Sabe to get your branded feathered hat. The Barn is only an hour and 40 minutes from The Woodlands the drive was not bad and there's a Bucee's on the way for a rest. I had no idea Round Top was this close! Perfect day tripping! Anyway, after walking in you'll see an array of booths displaying all kinds of antiques and jewelry and lots of furniture. The welcome from these establishments was underwhelming. Lots of grumpy buzzards. And most of the stuff could be found at Goodwill or local antique stores for much less. Warning! Only porta-potty bathrooms here! The sticker shock on the items was ...shocking too. I did buy a little trinket from the one and only sweet vendor with reasonable prices but I have to say, the best thing about the Barn? Was leaving! We drove down the road and found lots of friendly vendors and needed no ticket it was free!! We found more shopping and a great restaurant at the town square too. Bottom line...I'll be back to Round Top just not here and BtW I had a better time at Bucees!

What a scam. Don’t equate the Round Top Antique Fair with the Big Red Barn. This place is for those who have more money than sense. I don’t know if they own the rights to the event, but it should be addressed that you only need to pay an entrance fee if you desire to drop $5k on an overpriced relic that may or may not actually be an antique. Do yourself a favor and drive down the road a bit. Stop in the various lots along the way to see a lot of the same stuff at a reasonable price. For those who like to do some hunting, I’d recommend Warrenton markets instead. Granted it is definitely for two different types of clientele, but we definitely found better items at reasonable prices down the road. Don’t fall for the Big Red Barn or Blue Hills propaganda. That is not the true antique fair.

We had to pay $10 for the z winter show entrance fee. They had very high quality antiques at almost all their 50-60 booths. We feel in love with a couple of pieces, but they prices were too much. We did get a great turquoise ring for a reasonable price at John Knotts booth. The food trucks had tasty food. We enjoyed the day.

Like the others, the $10 entrance fee is irritating however they only take cash. Come on people you can't get with the times and do Venmo, etc.....? I have been here a couple of times before, and will agree that it's really overpriced and it leans more towards granny type stuff

It was a big disappointment because we couldn’t see if they even had anything we wanted without paying a fee of $25 before 1:00pm or $15 after 1:00pm!

A great variety of hard to find items.
