Against my better judgement, I took my dog here bc they had last minute availability. Oh, now I see why. Just take your dog to another location or provider. My first time experience in Carrollton was VERY poor.

Dr. Martin at the Josey Oaks Banfield in Carrollton is the absolute best!! She pays attention to detail and is so specific in our communication about my pets. I will never leave or go to another vet again. The entire staff at this Banfield are awesome. They really make my pets feel special and with my wellness plan reminders, I never have to worry about missing an appointment or health need for my pet. The payment plans are also convenient and there are never surprises. I only have positive things to say about Banfield. LOVE LOVE LOVE and highly recommend!

This place is a total scam. Do yourself a favor and find a good local vet. Avoid these chain vets at all costs. A friend of mine had X-rays and lab work done on her dog just to be told he was fine. He died a week or two later. On top of that, they are STILL charging her for his monthly wellness plan. This place is run on pure greed. Find a nice local vet that knows what they’re doing and has compassion for you and your beloved pet.

We called this location for an emergency visit on a Sunday. They were able to work our dog in even though we were not current patients there (our vet isn’t open on Sundays). Dr. Bell was so kind and very thorough, and she addressed our two concerns. As someone who works in the medical field, I usually cringe when I think of “corporate” medical facilities, and I’ll admit I felt the same way about Banfield, but after interacting with Dr. Bell, I was proven wrong and have changed my opinion. She explained in great detail what was going on with our dog, and gave me options with how to proceed. She called personally the next day to follow up on our dog as well. After this experience, we will now be permanent patients of Dr. Bell’s.

Brung my cane corso there and they broke one of his nails on how rough they were with him. Yes he is a big dog but he is a baby only 6 months. I felt like they were too aggressive with him. I ended up taking him to the other Banfield in Lewisville way better more patient with my BLU . They need better customer service for big dogs.

Banfield Carrollton location is not the closest to me but I make the drive because that is where my pet gets the best care, the staff is amazing.

Staff took excellent care of my cat and me. We were apprehensive after moving from Garland to Carrollton, but Dr. Jibi and her nurse Kelsey were gentle with Sunspot. The team explained things clearly, and Sunspot even got a Churu treat.

Been having not great experiences brining my animal there. Had to cancel my annual plan. The vet at the Josey lane location did not make me feel like cat was treated with care

I love this Banfield because, on top of being a great vet, they love my dogs so much. I have used this Banfield for 25+ years. In my 55+ years of taking pets to the vet, this is the 1st one that all my dogs have wagged their tails as soon as they enter the lobby. The vet explains everything, sometimes while holding and petting the dog. My dogs stay in the best of health with twice a year visits, and being there when one of my furry babies feels bad. The other staff is so caring with my dogs. With this 2nd generation of dogs, I recommend this Banfield and their plan.

This past Sunday me and my husband didn't know what to do... Our 13 year old baby, D.J. has a suspected CCL (ACL) tear (we have a surgical appointment tomorrow, thank God). He has been in so much pain and was switched the day before from Gabapentin to Simbadol which is a very strong opiate. In the morning he acted very "high" but comfortable, but in the afternoon he started crying/whimpering constantly. We didn't know what to do because it was a Sunday, so I searched and found Banfield was open. I called, explained our situation and asked if there were any available appointments (although this is not our current vet). The woman who answered the phone was friendly, concerned, and said she was going to put me on a brief hold to speak with the doctor. We spent about 10-15 minutes on the phone with them, coming to the realization that he was probably experiencing dysphoria... essentially he was most likely super high and possibly hallucinating. They assured me that he should not be in any pain with the medications he was on, but if anything got worse to go to an ER. I cannot thank this woman and doctor enough- others may have not solicited any suggestions over the phone, but they literally saved us. I would recommend anyone to visit here, as they obviously truly care about animals, regardless of appointment or payment. Thank you Banfield Pet Hospital!

Just now able to update. I'm still unhappy about how my cat was having seizures and died after leaving this location. And the comment to "reach out to them" when I'm unable to click on that profile to message, connect or comment? Yeah... really unable to connect to have you try to smooth things over. The more people I tell about my experience here the more people tell me about how they have also had terrible experiences or pet misdiagnosis and death from a banfield hospital. DONT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE FOR ACTUAL VET CARE. ITS NOT WORTH THE RISK.
