IMS Relocation helped us move out while our home was under repair. They did a great job communicating our move out dates and what the process would entail. The movers that packed us and moved us were kind and professional. As our time to move back in neared, I called to schedule our move in cleaning, move, and unpacking, which take place over 3 days. I was given a 3 day date over the phone, but was sent no confirmation email. I either misheard and put the dates down wrong, or they told me the wrong dates, but either way, the cleaners showed up a day earlier than expected and the movers came a day late. I called to check on the delay and my phone call was never returned, rather a text was sent stating my movers would come the following day. It was all just a misunderstanding but the communication about the issue was lacking.
Upon moving in, my unpacking team, while friendly, did not actually put our items back where they found them. Our dresser drawers were crammed full of items found in our master nightstands, as well as a mix of my husband and my clothing. It was very organized when they packed us up so that was completely unhelpful. I had to empty all of the drawers and reorganize. Items like lamps were removed from boxes but left with the cord wrapped around them and the lightbulbs no where to be found, and lampshades un attached. I still feel IMS was a helpful service given our circumstances but this is my honest experience.

Brett Moore helped me setup the move I needed. His crew Gerardo, Damian, Diego, and Juan were top notch. They secured items, protected the home, labels pieces, were so careful, kind, personable and very very helpful. I will continue to hire and recommend them! Disorganized Process - Successful Move (but just barely)
The initial survey and process of getting a quote for services went very smoothly, and I was looking forward to the move.
However, I quickly ran into issues. When they sent my paperwork over, it was filled with typos and errors in my contact information and addresses. This actually became an issue when I was not receiving the appropriate communications because my phone number was not documented properly. What was more disappointing was they asked me to proofread and send over any corrections needed. I did so; and they never corrected the paperwork.
My contact, Mike, eventually became non responsive and passed my case off to another set of representatives. I was never told who my point of contact was.
I ended up needing to change my move plans and purchase additional storage services from them. After connecting with my salesman it took almost 2 weeks to get the updated paperwork. I even sent a detailed email to the team at IMS with my new address and dates. I don’t think they ever made the appropriate arrangements. Two weeks after the pack and load, the move team at my new destination was trying to reach me for delivery, when the items should have still been in storage for an additional month. Unfortunately, because my phone number was never updated, the only way they were able to reach me was by email.
Then, 4 weeks after the pack and load, and after they tried to deliver 4 weeks early, I got another invoice for an additional $1000 because my items ended up using more crates than I was quoted for. I can appreciate this as it was in the contract, however, I received no communication from my move team prior to receiving the invoice. Not to mention the invoice had my name spelled incorrectly and the wrong address. I asked for Mike to give me a call to discuss. Unfortunately, that call never came.
During the move, the local team never received the updated address or my correct contact information. They went to the original address that should have been cancelled and did not have my correct phone number to contact me. The move ended up being successful, but IMS really missed the mark and instilled about zero confidence in their competency.

Luna and Francisco arrived on time, conducted a detailed initial walk through, and then quickly started the job. Both professional and friendly, they were in and out before I knew it. From working with Mike and his team to schedule the project, to its completion, it was a convenient and stress free experience. I highly recommend!

The service was outstanding. The crew did a great job. They were professional, courteous, and helpful, and went above and beyond expectations. IMS Relocation helped us out of a difficult situation. Another company changed its estimate at the last minute and was beyond our budget. IMS Relocation honored their estimate and worked us into their schedule. It was a very good experience. I would recommend them.

IMS made moving from Dallas to Austin so much easier than I was expecting. Mike came to my house and quickly inventoried everything I needed to move. (Other companies wanted me to inventory.) He was spot on with the number of boxes needed. The packing and moving crews were polite, fast, and took excellent care of my belongings. Literally, not one thing was broken when I unpacked everything in my new house. Definitely a 5 star company!

All the guys were great! Rafael, Adrian, Tino, and Luis are hard workers, and they seemed to work well together. They did a great job packing and padding our furniture and they were careful. They didn’t take many breaks tho; they stayed at it. They were an impressive Team!
