Josey Ranch Athletic Complex is a massive and well kept park with lots of options and things to do. It is a beautiful place with plenty of decently maintained green space, clearly marked walking trails, and many picnic tables. The park is very dog-friendly and has more than one restroom. Visitors can enjoy the playground, feed the waterfowl, and see swans. The site also includes a library, a veterans memorial, and a senior center that is clean and orderly with a little cafe. A noted downside is that some spectator areas are not well shaded. Overall, it is a wonderful place to spend quality time.

The new body weight machines area added to this location is one of the coolest things the city of Carrollton has done with our tax dollars in a long time. This will help provide a space for the community to improve our physical health. Did a short workout here in 90 degree weather and it was great.

My daughter plays fall softball here and my son has his soccer practice here. Always clean and well lot for evening/night games and practices. Trails are kept clean as well.
