Encountered a close call with an irate driver on November 21, 2023, at 9:10 pm, license plate number: 3430346.
Amidst a three-lane path, an 18-wheeler rudely cut me off, I prompted repeated honks to avert a collision. Uncertain of intent, I had to switch lanes for safety. Astonishingly, the company's driver, well aware of my presence, proceeded to verbally berate me for alleged failure to yield.
This unwarranted confrontation spanned a mile, despite ample room for a timely lane change. The situation escalated further as, even after a mile, the driver persisted in honking, prolonging the unnecessary conflict until 9:14 pm.
Such recklessness and hostile behavior raise concerns about the representation of your company.

My husband and I have just had the most stunningly horrible and unprofessional experience with a packing crew from Nelson Westerberg, so much so that we are left reeling, with a house full of boxes, broken items, and no movers because the crew actually bailed on our job after being here a couple hours at most.Led by a guy Joe, the packing crew was Pablo, Nancy, and Ishmael. Nancy and Ishmael were polite and seemed to take care when wrapping and packing our items. Pablo was a problem from the beginning. He was really rushing, kind of flinging things around, when he dropped some small boxes containing our crystal barware. Two crystal glasses dropped onto our rug, thankfully so they were not broken. I think I said "yo, just please slow down and take some extra care, these things are fragile." A little bit later, I spoke to Joe, and asked that Pablo not pack anymore of my fragile items.It was too late. After another mishap with Pablo that had to be corrected (he packed cabinets worth of open liquid containers that were off limits and not allowed in international shipments), the guy stormed out of our house because he didn't like something he overheard me say to my husband, which was "maybe it's his first day." Joe, apparently lacking the leadership to keep his team in order, took his team and left, saying they were rushing through our job because they had a much bigger job after us. Great.So after they left, we thought we would check on the boxes that Pablo had packed, since he had started in our living room around some of our most fragile items, including an antique lamp, a glass art piece, and a crystal chandelier. I had asked that each of those be individually wrapped in bubble and packed separately. OMG, he packed them all together in a single box, and then loaded heavy coffee table books and crystal barware on top of them. Everything was wrapped only paper, no bubble wrap, and the crystal candelabra was upside down with no cushion on the bottom of the box. Unsurprisingly, a crystal glass was cracked; the glass art piece is badly damaged; and the antique alabaster lamp is also broken. THIS WAS THE FIRST BOX HE PACKED, AND IT HADN'T EVEN LEFT OUR HOUSE!When I spoke later on the phone with the company's GM and Ops managers, Karen and Jennifer, Karen was not quick to apologize but rather quick to blame my husband and myself for the issue, accusing us of disrespecting her team. I'm blown away by this. Apparently it is not ok to provide direction for how your valuables should be packed, or to ask someone to be careful when they drop your crystal on the floor, or to make corrections when the wrong items get packed that could cause us trouble with customs down the line. Pablo is apparently reporting that we called him stupid, which is not at all the case, and also said he was yelled at; again certainly not the case. In the end, Karen says this is their "best packing crew." A packing crew that broke three of my most fragile items in the very first box that got packed; a crew that walked off the job because we called out their mistakes. I almost laughed out loud. If this was the best crew that Nelson Westerberg's got, then I would certainly suggest you hire someone else!

I highly recommend this company for any local or long distance moving need. Nelson Westerberg, with Rex and Amy coordinating my move, was completely professional, responsive, and helpful for my long distance move from Texas to MD. Rex was awesome with his estimates and helpful pointers, while Amy was amazing in coordinating the storage and eventual delivery of my household items several months later. I definitely recommend this company.

The crew that boxed and loaded did it with such consideration as if they were packing their own items. The crew that unloaded was efficient and courteous. I felt that they were friends throughout the process. Corporates checked on the process daily and reassured that needs were being met. It was more then just moving...it was making sure every need was met!

I love this company. Everything was very smooth when the company came to pack up my apartment. I love the fact of them being patient with us while we was buying a house. The only dislike was that some of my things got broken in the move. My hardware and some furniture pieces were missing. The driver didn’t have much help when moving my things into my house. It took him awhile to find help with moving our furniture in due to his tardiness. Dutch took good care of us and made us feel more comfortable with everything that happened. All truck drivers and the packers where great maybe just wish they all, the furniture truck drive and movers, could come at the same time. Everyone explained every detail and answered every question I had. I will be using this company’s service again.

We have gone through Nelson-Westerberg for both of our corporate moves! We could not be happier with the service we were given. I requested the same pack and load team as our first move, but unfortunately he was not available. However, our Account Coordinator did try since our experience with him was so great the first time. Our second move went seamless as well! We moved only 6 hours away vs the 22 so we were able to get unloaded and unpacked the very next day after our pack and load.

I have moved many times (my company moved me annually early on in my career). I believe that Nelson Westerberg did the best job of any movers ever. They were professional, fast, careful and very pleasant to deal with. I recommend them without hesitation!

Our move went extremely well from packing, loading to unloading. All staff were very good. When the original truck was not large enough, quick response was made in order a for second delivery to arrive and be unloaded on time. Our driver, Mario, did an excellent job in coordinating the complete process.
